Adams brought in seven of 11 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in the Jets' 21-13 win over the Texans on Thursday night. Adams was able to post team-best receiving yardage and target totals despite missing significant second-half time due to a concussion check. The star veteran wideout made a major splash upon his return to the game as well, recording a 37-yard touchdown grab with just under three minutes remaining to extend the Jets' lead to 21-10 and essentially seal the much-needed victory. Adams' totals were also his best yet since arriving in New York, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 10 road matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Adams cleared concussion protocol and has returned to Thursday's game against the Texans, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. Adams exited late in the third quarter and was checked for a concussion in the locker room. He missed nearly a full quarter but will be back in action for the final four minutes of regulation.

Adams exited Thursday's game against the Texans to be evaluated for a concussion, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Adams hauled in a 17-yard pass to convert on a fourth-down attempt late in the third quarter, though he was hit low and landed hard on the turf. He left the contest and was briefly evaluated in the medical tent before heading to the locker room. The Jets confirmed that he is undergoing an evaluation for a concussion, though he does not have an official injury designation.

Adams caught four of six targets for 54 yards in Sunday's 25-22 loss to the Patriots. Adams' modest showing included 16 meaningless yards on the game's final play, which ran out the clock before the Jets could get to the line for a spike. He finished second to Garrett Wilson (five catches on eight targets for 113 yards) in catches, targets and receiving yards. Adams has just 84 receiving yards through two games with the Jets, and he won't have much additional time to familiarize himself with his new surroundings before the trade acquisition's MetLife Stadium home debut Thursday against the Texans.

I am hopeful that Adams' Week 7 dud is enough to suppress his roster rate. The nine targets he saw were very encouraging, and now he'll have a full week of practice with the team and a much easier matchup against the New England Patriots. He projects as a top 10 wide receiver for me once again.
