Jones trailed Raekwon McMillan (10) and Jahlani Tavai (nine) in the tackling category for the Patriots on Thursday. Jones has accrued 18 combined tackles through the first three games of the regular season, 15 of which have come in the last two weeks.

The starting cornerback missed practice Wednesday after suffering a knee injury during the Patriots' Week 6 loss to the Raiders. Jones will likely need to practice again Friday to have a strong chance of playing in Week 7 against the Bills.

  Jones (knee) is questionable to return to New England's game against the Raiders on Sunday. Jones exited the game with a knee injury and has been replaced by Shaun Wade. If Jones is unable to return to the field, the Patriots will rely on Myles Bryant and Wade to try and slow down Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers for the remainder of the game.
