Kearse recorded 72 tackles (48 solo) including 1.5 sacks while adding one interception on four passes defended over 16 regular-season games in 2023. The 29-year-old has become a dependable option on the back end in defensive coordinator Dan Quinn's scheme, with the three highest tackle totals of his career coming during his three seasons with Dallas. Kearse hasn't seen enough snaps the last couple campaigns to be a true IDP asset, though, and the potential departure of Quinn could leave his role in limbo heading into 2024.

Kearse recorded 10 tackles (seven solo) and added a pass defended in a Week 17 win over the Lions. It's the first time this season the veteran safety has produced double-digit tackles, and Kearse had only nine total over his prior three games. After seeing a career-high 953 defensive snaps and turning them into 101 tackles during his first season in Dan Quinn's defense in 2021, Kearse has seen his role scaled back the last two campaigns, but he's still delivered 69 tackles with 1.5 sacks, plus one interception on four passes defended, over 15 games for the Cowboys in 2023.

Kearse recorded four solo tackles and one sack in the 42-10 loss to the 49ers in Week 5. Kearse's sack marked his first of the season. He is also now up to 21 tackles (15 solo) through five games. After playing every snap in the previous two games, he saw the field on 55 defensive plays (77 percent). The safety will now look ahead to Monday's matchup with the Chargers.

Kearse recorded two solo tackles, an interception and a pass deflection in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets. Kearse was able to snatch his first interception of the season in Week 2, picking off Zach Wilson early in the fourth quarter, matching his interception total from 2022. Through two contests, the safety has registered nine tackles, a pass deflection and an interception.

Kearse recorded 77 tackles (55 solo), including two sacks, while adding five passes defended with an interception, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble across 14 regular-season games in 2022. The veteran safety posted strong numbers, but they paled in comparison to his 101-tackle campaign from the year before. Instead, it was Donovan Wilson who took a lead role in defensive coordinator Dan Quinn's scheme among Cowboys safeties, with Kearse and Malik Hooker delivering more modest IDP production. Wilson is a free agent this offseason, however, and if he heads elsewhere, Kearse again could be in a position to take a run at triple-digit tackles in 2023.
