Robinson is preparing for a larger role with Puka Nacua (knee) on injured reserve and Cooper Kupp (ankle) expected to miss multiple games, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports. Robinson has only six catches for 92 yards this season after a nice run of performances in the No. 3 receiver role last year, but he should start to draw more targets if nothing else, playing alongside Tyler Johnson, Jordan Whittington and Tutu Atwell instead of targets hogs like Nacua and Kupp. The issue for fantasy is efficiency, especially with the Rams already losing two starting offensive linemen to injured reserve and now drawing a tough Week 3 matchup against the rival 49ers.

Robinson had two receptions (four targets) for 50 yards in Sunday's 41-10 loss to the Cardinals. Robinson finished as the Rams' leading receiver after star wideout Cooper Kupp (ankle) was knocked out of Sunday's tilt in the first half. The latter was spotted in a walking boot following the blowout loss, which doesn't bode well for Kupp's availability for Sunday's upcoming matchup against the 49ers. Robinson could lead a barebones Rams receiving unit in yardage (like he did in Sunday's contest) in Week 3 due to Puka Nacua (knee) already mending on injured reserve.

With Puka Nacua (knee) out, Cooper Kupp should dominate targets from Matthew Stafford, but Robinson and Tyler Johnson should also benefit. I'm going with Robinson over Johnson for now since Robinson was with the Rams last season and should have a better rapport with Stafford. Last year, Robinson scored at least 13.2 PPR points in each of his final five games. And in Week 1 against the Lions, Robinson had four catches for 42 yards on seven targets. Johnson also did well with five catches for 79 yards on seven targets, and his role will expand with Nacua out. Consider Robinson a potential flex option in PPR in Week 2.

Both Demarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson saw seven targets in Week 1. With Puka Nacua on IR, there's a real chance for one of these wide receivers to become Fantasy relevant. Robinson is the add if you only have one roster spot, but in deeper leagues, we would like to add both and see who stands out in Week 2.

Robinson is primed for a larger role over the next few weeks after Puka Nacua (knee) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday. Robinson played 92 percent of the team's offensive snaps in Sunday's 26-20 overtime loss to the Lions while Nacua didn't play after the second quarter. Cooper Kupp was targeted on 21 of Matthew Stafford's 49 passes in the game, while Robinson and Tyler Johnson filled secondary roles with seven targets apiece. Robinson played well down the stretch for the Rams in 2023, posting 319 yards and four touchdowns in a five-game span from Weeks 13 through 17.
