Joseph-Day (biceps) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Joseph-Day was limited in Wednesday's practice due to a biceps injury he may have suffered during Tennessee's Week 11 loss to Minnesota this past Sunday. He was able to participate in all team drills during Thursday's session, indicating that he will be good to go against the Texans on Sunday. In the six regular-season games since the Titans' Week 5 bye, Joseph-Day has logged 13 tackles (five solo), including 0.5 sacks.

Joseph-Day (biceps) was a DNP for the Titans' first official practice of the week Wednesday. Joseph-Day logged one solo tackles across 35 snaps (31 on defense, four on special teams) during the Titans' 23-13 loss to the Vikings this past Sunday, but he may have injured his biceps in the process. The 2018 sixth-round pick will have two more chances this week to return to practice in at least a limited capacity, which would give him a chance to play against the Texans on Sunday. Through 10 regular-season games, Joseph-Day has logged 25 tackles (11 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and one pass defended.

Joseph-Day finished Monday's 31-12 win over Miami with six tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks. Joseph-Day tied with T'Vondre Sweat for second-most tackles for the Titans on Monday behind Kenneth Murray (nine). Joseph-Day got to quarterback Tyler Huntley for a 10-yard sack late in the third quarter for his second sack of the season. Joseph-Day is one sack away from tying a career high he set in 2021 in 2023.

Joseph-Day registered three tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one pass defended in Sunday's 24-17 loss to Chicago. Joseph-Day played in just 18 of the Titans' 56 defensive snaps Sunday, but he made his limited playing time count. Two of his tackles went for losses, and his 19-yard sack on Caleb Williams in the first quarter knocked the Bears out of field-goal range. Joseph-Day will look to pad his sack total in Week 2 against Aaron Rodgers and the Jets.

The Chargers waived Joseph-Day on Friday. The fifth-year defensive lineman had started all 14 of the Chargers' games thus far, recording 31 total tackles, including three tackles for loss (all of which were sacks). Austin Johnson is now the lone defensive tackle in Los Angeles, so he'll likely assume starting duties going forward. Joseph-Day is expected to be a hot commodity once he clears waivers and should have no problem finding a new team.
