The 30-year-old veteran linebacker has started all 14 games this season, producing 79 tackles (43 solo), including 2.0 sacks, one pass breakup and one fumble recovery on 86 percent of the Chiefs' defensive snaps.

Tranquill compiled 10 total tackles (four solo) in Sunday night's 20-10 loss to Houston. Tranquill was able to cross the double-digit threshold in take-downs for the first time this season, finishing second to Nick Bolton (12) on the team in stops versus the Texans. The linebacker has now registered 65 total tackles (35 solo), including 2.0 sacks, while also adding a pass defensed and a fumble recovery over 13 contests this year.

Tranquill was limited to a season-low three takedowns in Week 5 and failed to make much of a mark on the contest. The linebacker has now registered 27 total tackles (14 solo), including 2.0 sacks, while also notching a pass defensed and a fumble recovery over five games this year. Tranquill will look to get back on track in Week 7 versus the Lions.

Tranquill's seven stops marked a new season-high for the veteran linebacker, and he's now up to 24 tackles (13 solo), including 2.0 sacks, two QB hits and one fumble recovery on 84 percent of the Chiefs' defensive snaps through four contests.

Tranquill recorded five tackles (one solo) against the Giants in a 22-9 victory Sunday. Tranquill's tackle total tied for fourth-most on KC. The veteran linebacker has been very consistent through three games, recording five stops in two contests and six in the other. Tranquill notched 2.0 sacks in Week 1 against his former team, the Chargers, but hasn't picked up a sack since.
