The Titans signed Siemian to the practice squad Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Siemian will start the regular season as the Titans' practice squad quarterback while Brandon Allen serves as the QB2 behind starter Cameron Ward. Siemian spent time on the Titans' practice squad in 2024 and last saw regular-season action in 2023 with the Jets, when he completed 56.2 percent of his passes for 724 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions across five games.

The Titans cut Siemian on Tuesday, Paul Kuharsky of PaulKuharsky.com reports. Siemian signed with Tennessee earlier this month and completed eight of 11 pass attempts for 68 scoreless yards this preseason. Kuharsky notes that the Titans want to bring Siemian back on the practice squad.

Siemian reverted to the Titans' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Siemian operated as the backup quarterback behind Mason Rudolph in the team's 52-14 loss to the Lions in Week 8, failing to enter the game. With Will Levis (shoulder) still banged up, Siemian could be elevated again for Sunday's matchup with the Patriots.

The Titans elevated Siemian from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, John Glennon of NashvillePost.com reports, Siemian will work as the backup to Mason Rudolph in the event that Will Levis (shoulder), who is officially listed as questionable, isn't able to suit up for Sunday's game at Detroit. This constitutes Siemian's second of three possible elevations from the practice squad for Tennessee.
