Alexander recorded four solo tackles and an interception in Friday's 34-29 loss to the Eagles. Alexander was not particularly tight in coverage in Week 1, but he did at least pick up an interception after not recording even one in seven regular-season 2023 appearances. Injuries have been an issue for Alexander in recent years, but on the heels of a healthy offseason he is locked in as Green Bay's top cornerback.

Alexander recorded 27 tackles (23 solo), a forced fumble and five pass deflections over seven games in the 2023 regular season. It was a peculiar season for Alexander, who missed nine games with injury and another due to a team-imposed suspension, but he was out there during the playoffs, and his presence was key for Green Bay's defense. A healthy Alexander -- the league's highest-paid cornerback -- would go a long way toward the Packers being more effective on the defensive side of the ball in 2024.

Alexander (ankle) isn't practicing Wednesday, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports. Alexander injured his ankle in a walk-through prior to Sunday's 48-32 wild-card round win over Dallas, then aggravated the injury during the game, though he made an impact before his exit with an interception. Coach Matt LaFleur was hopeful that Alexander would be able to practice Thursday, and a return at that point would put Alexander on track to suit up Saturday in the divisional round against the 49ers.

Alexander (ankle) is active Sunday against the Cowboys. Alexander logged back-to-back DNPs after starting the practice week with a limited session. The All-Pro corner's ability to take the field for the wild-card matchup with Dallas is of course good news for the defense. The 26-year-old will likely be key in the Packers' attempts to contain CeeDee Lamb and the Cowboys' passing attack Sunday.

Alexander (shoulder/ankle) was estimated as a limited participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough. Alexander returned from a one-game suspension to play all 46 of Green Bay's defensive snaps Week 18 against Chicago. He's been dealing with a shoulder issue since early November and missed six games because of it, though it's not certain that his current injury is related. Assuming Alexander is able to suit up in Sunday's wild-card contest versus the Cowboys, his presence will be key in trying to slow down CeeDee Lamb and Dallas' pass attack.
