Greenard finished the 2024 season with 59 tackles (41 solo), including 18 total TFLs and 12.0 sacks, four forced fumbles and three pass breakups across 17 regular-season contests. After Greenard broke out for 12.5 sacks with the Texans in 2023, the Vikings signed him to a four-year, $76 million deal as a free agent. Greenard answered with another outstanding season, setting new career highs in tackles, TFLs, forced fumbles and QB hits (22). He started all 17 games and was named to his first Pro Bowl. Greenard has finished in the top 10 in the NFL in sacks in back-to-back seasons and turns 28 years old in May.

Greenard recorded six total tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sacks, while also forcing a fumble in Monday's 30-12 win over the Bears. Greenard didn't wait long to make his mark in Week 15, recording a strip-sack of Caleb Williams in the first quarter. Teammate Blake Cashman recovered the fumble, while the sack was Greenard's 11th of the year. Greenard has now compiled 49 total tackles (34 solo), including the 11.0 sacks, and also added four forced fumbles and two passes defensed over 14 games in his first season with Minnesota.

The linebacker is up to 9.0 sacks on the year, tied with teammate Andrew Van Ginkel for sixth in the league. Greenard also has 37 total tackles (28 solo), two pass breakups and two forced fumbles.

Greenard recorded 2.0 sacks and a pass defensed in Sunday's 21-13 win over the Colts. The defensive end now has 23 tackles (17 solo), including 7.0 sacks, on the year. Greenard has also played on more than 60.0 percent of the defensive snaps in all eight of Minnesota's games this season.

Greenard finished Sunday's 31-29 loss to Detroit with four tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, and one forced fumble. Greenard logged his fifth sack of the season Sunday after taking down Jared Goff for a nine-yard loss early in the fourth quarter. His five sacks on the year is tied with Andrew Van Ginkel and Pat Jones for most on the Vikings and tied for ninth-most in the NFL this season. Greenard will look to add to his sack total against Matthew Stafford and the Rams on Thursday night.
