Givens (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against Seattle, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports. Givens will miss his third straight game due to a groin issue and has yet to return to practice since the injury. His next chance to play will be Week 12 against Green Bay on Sunday, Nov. 24. Kalia Davis will serve as the 49ers' primary rotational defensive tackle Sunday behind starters Maliek Collins and Jordan Elliott.

Givens (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Buccaneers, David Lombardi of The San Francisco Standard reports. Givens didn't practice all week and is now in line to miss his second consecutive game Sunday due to a groin injury sustained in late October. Expect Khalil Davis to see increased work as a rotational defensive tackle while Givens remains sidelined in Week 10.

Givens (groin) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Jennifer Lee Chan of NBC Sports Bay Area reports. Givens has been unable to practice all week due to a groin injury, and while he won't play Sunday, it's not considered serious enough to warrant a stint on injured reserve, per Chan. The 49ers have a bye for Week 9, so Givens will take advantage of the additional rest and aim to return for Week 10 against the Buccaneers on Sunday, Nov. 10. With Givens sidelined for Sunday's contest, Kalia Davis will be the main backup at defensive tackle behind starters Maliek Collins and Jordan Elliott, and Evan Anderson should see an uptick in defensive snaps as well.

The 49ers are signing Givens to a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Givens is now in line to play his sixth straight season in San Francisco after playing all 17 regular-season games in 2023. He will likely fill a rotational role on the interior of the defensive line once again in 2024.

Givens (knee) was listed as a full participant on the 49ers' injury report Tuesday. Givens has not played since sustaining a sprained MCL during the Week 14 win over Tampa Bay. The 25-year-old did return to practice in a limited fashion last Thursday, and he should now be set to reprise his rotational role at defensive tackle. Givens recorded a career-high 20 tackles, two sacks and a pass defended over 13 games this regular season, and he'll provide valuable depth alongside Javon Kinlaw (knee) and Arik Armstead (foot/ankle), both of whom were limited during practice Tuesday.
