Tennessee waived Mack (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. He is now set to become a free agent but will be able to sign with a team once he's healthy. The 26-year-old tight end has yet to log a regular-season NFL snap.

Mack (undisclosed) reverted to the Titans' injured reserve Wednesday, per the NFL's transaction log. It remains unclear what type of injury Mack is dealing with, but he is now facing an entire 2023 season on the sideline. Depending on the severity of the issue, he could still reach an injury settlement with the Titans at some point and play again this year if his health allows it.

Mack signed a contract with the Titans on Thursday, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Mack missed last season after being cut from injured reserve by the Packers after suffering an undisclosed injury. The 26-year-old has bounced around the league since being selected in the seventh round of the 2019 Draft by the Saints, but he has yet to play in a regular season game. He'll work to finally make that happen with the Titans in 2023.

Mack, a 2019 seventh-round pick by the Saints, is still vying for a chance to make his NFL debut.
