Murphy-Bunting joined the Titans on a one-year deal before the 2023 season, and he topped 800 defensive snaps for the second time in his five-year career. Murphy-Bunting hurt his knee in Monday's game against Miami and has been deemed questionable to return, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports. Murphy-Bunting landed awkwardly on his left leg while matching up with Tyreek Hill in the second half. Prior to his exit, he logged six tackles (all solo) and a deflected pass. Eric Garror stepped into Murphy-Bunting's place following the latter's exit.

Murphy-Bunting (thumb) was a full participant at practice Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports. Murphy-Bunting was sidelined for Tennessee's last two games as he nursed a thumb injury he sustained in Week 9 at Pittsburgh, but it looks like he'll be ready to return in Week 12. He figures to step back into a starting role at corner come Sunday versus the Panthers.

Murphy-Bunting sat out of Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay, but he'll be present for the Titans' first practice of the new week. If he can upgrade to full participation Thursday or Friday, he could likely avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.
