He's almost exclusively a blocking fullback who will get a few goal-line carries per season. Even if Aaron Jones misses time with a hip injury, don't expect Ham to see a meaningful increase in touches.

Ham played on 19 of the offense's 55 snaps, as the blocking fullback went out on a surprising eight routes. He only gets a few touches a game at best, so don't expect more from the savvy veteran.

Ham logged eight of the Vikings' 72 snaps on offense and carried once for seven yards in Sunday's 3-0 win over the Raiders. Ham's carry was his first of the season, and though he produced one of the bigger gains of the day in a game where neither offense could get much going, don't expect the Minnesota coaching staff to go out of its way to manufacture touches for him in future contests. Like most fullbacks, Ham will be deployed primarily as a run blocker or pass protector whenever he's on the field.

The 5-foot-11, 250-pound fullback has now gone without a touch for the second week in a row, though that's not too unexpected after he combined for no carries and only four targets over the first three games of the season. Ham will continue to serve primarily as a blocker whenever he's on the field.

The three-target tally is considered a heavy volume game for Ham, considering he logged just 12 targets all of last season. Still, he has a limited role in the offense, as he's used almost exclusively as a blocker.
