Simmons (knee) is participating in practice at Titans camp this week, Nick Suss of The Tennesseean reports. Simmons went on injured reserve late last season with his knee issue and didn't take part in minicamp. The Titans were likely just being cautious with their star defender. Simmons is good to go for the start of training camp after missing five games last year. Turning 27 years old Sunday, Simmons has 26.5 career sacks across five campaigns.

Simmons (knee) didn't practice Tuesday during the Titans' minicamp session, Nubyjas Wilborn of SI.com reports. Head coach Brian Callahan said that Simmons is still recovering from the knee injury that he suffered late in the 2023 season. Simmons appeared in the Titans' first 12 games last season, tallying 44 total tackles, 5.5 sacks and one forced fumble. Once the 26-year-old defensive lineman returns to the field, he's expected to continue dominating the line of scrimmage.

Simmons will miss a third consecutive contest as he continues to nurse a knee injury. With the Titans eliminated from playoff contention, it's possible that the team could shut him down for the season. Quinton Bohanna could step into a starting role in Week 16 versus the Seahawks.

Simmons hasn't played since Week 13 against the Colts, and with his Week 16 prep starting with a DNP, he appears in danger of missing his third consecutive game. He'll work to get back on the field Thursday to increase his chances of suiting up Sunday against the Seahawks.
