  Simmons was traded to the Bears on Thursday, along with a 2028 fifth-round pick, in exchange for first-round picks in 2027 and 2028, as well as a 2027 fourth-round pick, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Chicago parted with a hefty package of draft picks to land the standout defensive tackle from the 1-6 Titans. Simmons had a career-high 11.0 sacks in 15 appearances last season and is slightly behind that pace this season, with 4.0 sacks through seven games. The four-time Pro Bowler has four passes defensed and 38.0 tackles (20 solo) this season. He'll likely make his Bears debut Monday against the Seahawks.

  Simmons logged six tackles (three solo), including 2.0 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery during the Titans' 26-20 win over the Colts on Sunday. Simmons had just 1.0 sacks through five regular-season games, but he doubled that total during Sunday's win, which was Tennessee's first of the 2026 campaign. He stripped Jonathan Taylor of the football on the Colts' opening play of the third quarter and recovered the football himself, which led to a 29-yard field goal by Joey Slye seven plays later to put the Titans on the board. Simmons leads all defensive tackles with 34 combined stops through six regular-season games.

  Simmons posted 10 tackles (five solo), including 1.0 sacks, during the Titans' 12-7 loss to the Giants in Week 3. Simmons led the Titans in combined tackles with two going for a loss, including a seven-yard sack on Jameis Winston early in the second quarter that forced the Giants to punt on the next play. Simmons is up to 20 combined tackles through three regular-season games, which leads all defensive linemen in the NFL and is fourth-most on the Titans. He's recorded a sack in back-to-back games, but he'll have his hands full in a Week 4 road tilt against Lamar Jackson, former Titans running back Derrick Henry and the Ravens.

  Simmons (elbow) is participating at the Titans' training camp, George Walker of the Kingsport Times News reports. Simmons underwent surgery during the offseason to address an issue with his elbow, but it doesn't seem to be limiting him now that training camp has started up. He's coming off his first All-Pro season and figures to play a massive role on Tennessee's defensive line in 2026.
