Fant (toe) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Fant again is kicking off a week of game prep with a capped session due to a toe injury, but he's been able to play through it so far, gathering in three of seven targets for 25 yards through two contests. His status will continue to be watched as the Seahawks gear up to face the Dolphins on Sunday.

Fant caught one of three targets in Sunday's 23-20 overtime win versus the Patriots. It was another underwhelming performance by Fant, as he has produced just 25 receiving yards despite Geno Smith throwing for 498 yards through two games. Fant is still playing plenty of snaps, as he handled an 80 percent share in Week 2. However, it appears Fant's role hasn't improved much in the Seahawks' new system.

Fant (toe) practiced fully Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. After opening Week 1 prep with a pair of limited practices, Fant avoided a designation entirely for this past Sunday's game versus the Broncos, turning a 75 percent snap share into two catches (on four targets) for 11 yards. He should retain a similar workload this Sunday in New England, but production may be difficult to come by in an receiving corps led by WRs DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett.

Fant (toe) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Fant is beginning this week as he did preparations for Week 1 with a capped session. If he follows a similar path this time around, he'll be limited Thursday and a full participant Friday before going into the weekend without a designation. Fant handled a 75 percent share of the offensive snaps this past Sunday against the Broncos on his way to two catches (on four targets) for 11 yards.

Fant caught two of four targets for 11 yards in Sunday's 26-20 win over the Broncos. While it was a difficult outing for Fant individually, the Seahawks struggled in the air overall, totaling just 171 yards. He's the clear No. 1 tight end, but he's probably fourth in the pecking order when it comes to targets, sitting behind WRs DK Metcalf, Tyler Lockett and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Fant will look to bounce back Week 2 against the Patriots.
