Fant (ankle) was a limited participant in Thursday's practice. Fant was unable to practice Wednesday due to the ankle injury he sustained during Cincinnati's loss to the Ravens in Week 15, but he's now making tangible progress in his recovery. Friday's session will represent Fant's last chance to prove he's capable of handling full practice reps ahead of Sunday's matchup against Miami.

Fant was forced off the field during the second quarter of Cincinnati's loss to the Ravens in Week 15 due to a right ankle issue, and he appears to be trending in the wrong direction for Sunday's road matchup against the Dolphins. If Fant isn't able to gain clearance for Week 16, Tanner Hudson will operate as the No. 2 tight end behind Mike Gesicki.

Fant (ankle) is questionable to return in Sunday's game against the Ravens. Fant limped off the field in the second quarter of Sunday's matchup. The 28-year-old had 33 receptions for 283 yards and three touchdowns over his previous 12 games this season. If the seventh-year veteran is unable to return, Tanner Hudson will likely take over as the No. 2 tight end for the remainder of the game.

Fant caught one of two targets for 15 yards in Sunday's 39-34 loss to the Bills. Fant was not a major factor in the Bengals' passing attack Sunday, recording just one grab for the third straight contest. The veteran tight end played 25 of Cincinnati's 60 offensive snaps, behind Drew Sample (27) and tied with Mike Gesicki. It was Gesicki, however, who had the biggest impact of any Bengals tight end, catching all six of his targets for 86 yards and a touchdown. With Gesicki operating as the team's top tight end in the passing game, Fant remains very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 15 matchup against the Ravens.

Fant had one catch for three yards on two targets in Thursday night's win over the Ravens. Fant at least played more snaps, 33 compared to 18 the week before, but wasn't a big part of the passing game. With Mike Gesicki healthy again, Fant's already modest level of production is incredibly unstable.
