Diggs (knee) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice walkthrough, Adam Caplan of SiriusXM NFL Radio reports. Diggs returned from a two-game absence Monday versus Cincinnati and played every one of Dallas' defensive snaps, finishing with five tackles and three pass defenses. His designation of limited Wednesday may simply reflect that he's not 100 percent recovered from the knee issue. Diggs' practice participation the rest of the week should help clarify whether he's in any danger of missing Sunday's contest against Carolina.

Diggs (knee/groin) is active against the Bengals for Monday Night Football, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Diggs will return to game action for the first time since Week 11 after missing a pair of contests due to groin and knee injuries. His ability to suit up Monday comes at a good time, as Josh Butler -- who had been filling in as a starting cornerback -- was placed on injured reserve Monday due to a torn ACL. Diggs will face a tough challenge in his first game back as he tries to slow down Ja'Marr Chase, Tee Higgins and a Bengals air attack helmed by Joe Burrow.

He appears to be over the groin issue, but his knee problem limited him in Thursday's practice. Diggs will have two more chances to increase his practice participation ahead of Monday's game against the Bengals.

Head coach Mike McCarthy said Friday that the extra rest following the Cowboys' Thanksgiving game win the Giants on Thursday could help Diggs (groin) be available for Week 14 against the Bengals on Monday, Dec. 9, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. Diggs has missed the Cowboys' last two games due to a groin injury. His chances to return for Week 14 would significantly increase if he's able to log some full practices in the lead-up to that game. In the 10 games prior to his injury, Diggs logged 37 tackles (30 solo) and eight pass defenses (including two interceptions).

Diggs was limited at Monday's walkthrough, missed the walkthrough one day later and then practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday as he tended to groin and knee issues. Despite getting in some work, he'll sit out a second contest in a row. Diggs' next chance to suit up arrives Monday, Dec. 9 against the Bengals.
