Blackmon recorded eight tackles (six solo) during Sunday's 23-20 loss at Houston. Sunday's game was Blackmon's second straight collecting at least eight tackles, bringing his total on the season up to 49. That's good enough for IDP consideration in some formats heading into a Week 9 tilt at Minnesota.

Blackmon (shoulder) was a full participant during practice Wednesday. It was previously reported by James Boyd of The Athletic that the Utah product was on the field Wednesday, but his level of participation wasn't reported. His ability to get in a full practice suggests the safety should be good to go Sunday against the Bears.

Blackmon (shoulder) didn't participate in Wednesday's practice. Indianapolis' top strong safety logged 13 total tackles during the team's Week 1 loss, but it appears he may have sustained a shoulder injury in that effort. Blackmon's practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide a better indication of whether the 26-year-old will be able to suit up for the Colts in Week 2.
