  Evans (leg) was placed on injured reserve Monday. The move was a formality for Evans after it was already reported he would miss the 2024 campaign due to suffering a torn patellar tendon during a joint practice with the Bears on Thursday. The Michigan product was competing for a spot on Cincinnati's running back depth chart behind Zack Moss and Chase Brown before suffering the injury.

  Evans is out for the season after suffering a torn patellar tendon during the Bengals' joint practice with the Bears on Thursday, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports. The running back was carted off the practice field and had his leg placed in an air cast. Evans was competing for a spot on Cincinnati's running back depth chart behind Zack Moss and Chase Brown. The Michigan product carried the ball twice for 12 yards in 2023.

With that said, Joe Mixon remains the only reliable fantasy back in this offense going forward, barring an injury. Evans should remain far of the fantasy radar going forward. The Bengals face the Cardinals in Week 5.
