• Giants' Jaxson Dart: Tosses three TDs in Week 1 win

  Dart completed 23 of 29 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns in Sunday's 28-20 win over the Cowboys. He also rushed 11 times for 54 yards. Dart delivered a superb performance with both his arm and his legs. He threw touchdown passes of 15 and two yards to Isaiah Likely, as well as a nine-yard touchdown pass to Devin Singletary. Dart also finished second on the team in rushing yards, 27 shy of Cam Skattebo's 81. The mobile QB completed all eight of his pass attempts to Likely and showed promising chemistry with wide receiver Malik Nabers (knee), who suited up after being listed as questionable heading into Sunday night's season opener. Dart and the Giants will play in primetime again in Week 2, when they visit the Rams on Monday Night Football.

  Dart faced the Cowboys once in 2025 in Week 18 and he had 230 passing yards and two touchdowns and five carries for 32 yards and scored 24.4 Fantasy points. This Dallas defense should be much improved from last year, but Dart also has better weapons with Malik Nabers (knee) healthy, along with the additions of Isaiah Likely, Darnell Mooney, Odell Beckham Jr. and Malachi Fields. This game has a projected total of 47.5 points, and the Giants might have to keep pace with the Cowboys in this game. Dart is worth using as a low-end starter in all leagues.

  Dart said Tuesday that he feels "so much better" now than he did during the offseason program in new offensive coordinator Matt Nagy's scheme, which has the quarterback playing more under center, Darryl Slater of NJ.com reports. As a rookie in 2025, Dart completed 63.7 percent (216 of 339) of his passes for 2,272 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions while adding 86 carries for 487 yards and nine more TDs. But not many of his snaps occurred under center as then coach Brian Daboll attempted to cater to Dart's style of play. Perhaps the change in schemes will help Dart stay out of harm's way more often after he had five concussion checks last season. In any case, it remains to be seen if he'll have top WR Malik Nabers available Week 1 as he closes in on his recovery from last year's torn ACL.

• Giants' Jaxson Dart: Rested for second preseason game

  Dart didn't suit up for Saturday's 26-3 preseason win over the Dolphins. Backup Jameis Winston got the start as Dart and some other key starters rested for the second preseason game. Dart played two series in the preseason opener, capping that appearance with a touchdown pass. It remains to be seen whether coach John Harbaugh gives the 2025 first-round pick any action in Friday's preseason finale against the Jets before the Giants kick off regular-season play with a Week 1 home game against the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

  Dart went to the medical tent during the first quarter of Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Dart took a big hit from Vikings safety Jay Ward in the first quarter, and he was evaluated by team doctors shortly thereafter.
