• Patriots' Drake Maye: Mixed results in loss

  Maye completed 19 of 23 pass attempts for 202 yards, one touchdown and one interception while rushing four times for 14 yards and another score in Sunday's 30-17 loss to the Cardinals. Maye scored a pair of garbage-time touchdowns in the fourth quarter to help pad his fantasy line, but the rookie couldn't avoid throwing an interception for the sixth week in a row. The North Carolina product now owns a poor 1.3 TD/INT ratio through nine starts as a rookie. Maye could see a bump in projections in a road tilt against the Bills, assuming the Patriots fall behind big early and the weather is tolerable in Buffalo. That said, his value is limited to two-QB formats in Week 16.

  Maye doesn't have an easy matchup in Week 15 at Arizona, but he has scored at least 21.4 Fantasy points in two of his past three outings prior to New England's bye in Week 14. He's done a nice job with his legs, scoring at least 5.9 Fantasy points on the ground in three of his past six starts. I'd prefer to only start Maye in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues, but maybe he can help you if you're desperate in deep, one-quarterback leagues.

  The Colts aren't a good matchup for opposing quarterbacks, and Maye is only worth starting in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 13. In their past five games, only Sam Darnold had a huge outing with 25 Fantasy points in Week 9, which includes matchups with C.J. Stroud (14.4 Fantasy points), Josh Allen (18.1), Aaron Rodgers (20.1) and Jared Goff (10.8). Maye has scored 17.7 Fantasy points or less in four of his past five games, and I don't expect him to post a huge stat line against Indianapolis, given the recent track record of opposing quarterbacks.

  Maye completed 22 of 37 passes for 221 yards with a touchdown and an interception while rushing five times for 26 yards in the Patriots' 34-15 loss to the Dolphins on Sunday. He also lost a fumble. Maye's final numbers were serviceable enough to belie some of the difficulties he experienced throughout the afternoon, which included taking four sacks in addition to his pair of turnovers. The rookie couldn't lead the Patriots to any points until the game was out of reach in the fourth quarter and he connected with Austin Hooper for a 38-yard touchdown pass, extending his streak of at least one scoring toss to four games. Maye's pair of miscues led to a total of 10 points for the Dolphins, but he'll have a chance at redemption against an inconsistent Colts defense when the Patriots host Indianapolis in Week 13.

  Maye comes into Week 12 having scored at least 21.9 Fantasy points in three of his past five healthy games, and I hope he takes advantage of this matchup against the Dolphins. Ironically, Miami has allowed three of the past four opposing quarterbacks to score at least 21.9 Fantasy points, so hopefully, that's a good number for Maye again. He's a great bye-week replacement quarterback in all leagues in Week 12.
