Mitchell caught three of six targets for 43 yards in Sunday's 29-6 loss to the Saints. Mitchell finished second on the team in receiving yards behind backup running back Isaiah Davis' 52. This was the sixth time in as many games with the Jets that Mitchell has drawn at least six targets. Whether the Jets start undrafted rookie Brady Cook at quarterback for a third consecutive game or turn back to one of Tyrod Taylor or Justin Fields (knee), Mitchell should continue to function as the team's top downfield target in Week 17 against the Patriots.

Brady Cook will start at quarterback for the Jets again in Week 16, and that might be a good thing for Mitchell. The two played well together in Week 15 at Jacksonville when Mitchell had six catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, and he scored 17.4 PPR points. Mitchell now has at least six targets in five games in a row, and he scored a touchdown in two of his past three games. He should be considered a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues in Week 16.

Mitchell has topped 17 PPR Fantasy points in two of his last three games. The problem is that the other game he gave us a goose egg. You'll be hard pressed to find a more boom or bust flex this week than Mitchell, but if you need to swing big on the waiver wire, he has the upside. He has 50 targets in five games with Jets this season.

Mitchell had a solid game in Week 15 at Jacksonville with six catches for 58 yards and a touchdown on nine targets, and he scored 17.4 PPR points. We'll see who starts at quarterback for the Jets in Week 16 at New Orleans, but it was good to see Mitchell have a productive outing against the Jaguars with Brady Cook under center. Mitchell now has at least six targets in five games in a row, and he scored a touchdown in two of his past three games. He could be a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in all leagues against the Saints, especially if Tyrod Taylor (groin) is back at quarterback for the Jets.

Mitchell caught one of six targets for 24 yards in Sunday's 34-10 loss to the Dolphins. Mitchell cooled off after his breakout performance against the Falcons in the previous game, though he wasn't helped by subpar quarterback play from third-stringer Brady Cook, who replaced Tyrod Taylor (groin) in the first half. Mitchell caught eight of 12 targets for 102 yards and a touchdown against Atlanta but has caught only four of 19 targets for 76 yards across three other appearances for the Jets. His target volume has been encouraging, but the inconsistent wide receiver's floor will remain low in Week 15 against the Jaguars, especially if the Jets start Cook or Justin Fields (knee) under center.
