Turner (knee) was limited during the Vikings' walkthrough session Wednesday. Turner picked up a knee injury in Week 2 against the 49ers, which kept him from playing in Week 3 against the Texans. The rookie first-round pick participating in the first session of the week, even in a limited capacity, is a step in the right direction. Turner will have two more chances Thursday and Friday to see the field for practice ahead of the Vikings' NFC North showdown against the Packers on Sunday.

Head coach Kevin O'Connell told reporters Monday that Turner is day-to-day with a knee injury, Ben Goessling of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. Turner played 18 defensive snaps and recorded two total tackles before leaving Minnesota's Week 2 win with a knee injury. If Turner is forced to miss time, expect Pat Jones to see more work on the Vikings' defense as a rotational edge rusher.

Turner started at edge linebacker and had a sack and two QB hits in Saturday's preseason win over Las Vegas. Turner started due to Jonathan Greenard and Andrew Van Ginkel both sitting out. Turner, a 2024 first-round pick, may not begin the season as a starter, but he's likely to get significant playing time in a rotation at edge rusher.
