Davidson was held out of practice all week due to an illness, but he has recovered enough to be cleared to play Sunday. He has served in a rotational role on the Giants' defensive line this season, but he could see more snaps against Washington due to the absence of Rakeem Nunez-Roches (ankle).

That said, Davidson managed to suit up Week 7 despite logging a FP-DNP-LP practice slate while listed with a knee injury, so if he's able to get back to at least limited activity levels Friday, he could still gain clearance for Sunday's divisional matchup at Philadelphia.

  Davidson is questionable to return to Thursday's game against the Eagles due to a knee injury, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports. Davidson was on the field for a series of plays near the goal line, during which the Eagles ran four consecutive tush pushes. The final play ended in a touchdown and it also appeared to be when Davidson suffered his injury. He was carted to the locker room, so his return should be in doubt despite the official designation.

Davidson recently missed time with the hamstring issue but looked good against Buffalo.
