• Dresser Winn: Let go by Rams

  The Rams waived Winn on Sunday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Winn made his lone preseason appearance against the Texans on Saturday, finishing the game by completing nine of 16 pass attempts for 72 yards. He'll look to catch on with another team as a practice squad quarterback assuming he clears waivers.

  The Rams signed Winn to their practice squad Tuesday. The Rams cut Winn from their practice squad back in early November, but they've now decided to bring him back into the fold ahead of Week 18. Assuming Matthew Stafford and Carson Wentz remain healthy, Winn will probably remain on the practice squad for the rest of the season.

  The Rams cut Winn from their practice squad Tuesday. Winn spent six days with Los Angeles, but the Rams made a big move on Tuesday to add Carson Wentz as Matthew Stafford's backup. In addition to Winn, the Rams also waived veteran Brett Rypien.
