Young wasn't able to extend his sack streak to four games Sunday, though he led all Saints defensive ends with 39 snaps on defense. Across the five games since returning from a calf injury Week 6, Young has accumulated 13 tackles (seven solo), including 3.0 sacks, three pass defenses, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.

Young was one of the Saints' few bright spots during the blowout loss, as he was involved in two of the team's three sacks of Baker Mayfield. The 2020 first-round pick has gotten off to a hot start since making his debut in the Week 6 loss to the Patriots, logging eight tackles (four solo), including 2.0 sacks, across his first three outings.

Young (illness) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Young was held out of Wednesday's practice due to an illness, but he appears to no longer be under the weather and should be available for Sunday's NFC South clash against the Buccaneers. The 2020 first-rounder missed the first five games of the regular season due to a calf injury, but he played in Weeks 5 and 6 and logged four tackles (three solo), including 0.5 sacks, and two pass defenses over that span.

Young (illness) did not practice Wednesday. Young has played in the last two Saints' games, his only two contests of the season. There's no indication the illness will threaten his availability for Sunday's matchup against Tampa Bay, but his progress throughout the week will be worth monitoring.
