Curl (knee) is questionable for Sunday's contest against Seattle, Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic reports. Curl suffered a knee injury in the team's Week 8 win over the Vikings on Thursday Night Football but was able to log three limited practices this week. The safety has yet to miss a game this season, but if he's unable to go in Week 9, Kamren Kinchens would likely draw the start at strong safety.

Curl (knee) was a limited participant in the Rams's practice Wednesday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN reports. Curl is still dealing with a knee injury he suffered during the first quarter of last week's win over the Vikings. However, the 25-year-old managed to return later in the game, and he will look to get healthy in time for Sunday's matchup versus the Seahawks.

Curl (knee) has returned to Thursday night's game against the Vikings. The safety got hurt on the opening drive after making two tackles (one solo). Curl did not miss a defensive snap across the Rams' first six games, and while he won't match that reliability Thursday, his quick return may allow him to come close. The fifth-year pro has 41 tackles (28 solo), two passes defensed, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 2024.

Curl recorded seven solo tackles, two passes defended, and one fumble recovery that was returned 33 yards for a touchdown during Sunday's 20-15 victory against the Raiders. Curl played 100% of snaps for the sixth consecutive game and turned in an outstanding performance with a season high in solo tackles and passes defended. He also scooped up a Gardner Minshew fumble after a Cobie Durant sack and returned it for a Rams' touchdown in the second quarter. The Rams will need Curl to be at his best on a short week, as the potent Vikings passing game comes to town in Week 8 for a Thursday night matchup.

Curl (quadriceps) signed a two-year, $13 million deal with the Rams on Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Curl was drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 draft, but he maintained a significant role on the defensive unit for the Commanders in all four of his seasons with the team. He topped 80 tackles in each of those campaigns and had at least four passes defensed on three occasions. The 24-year-old -- who is presumably past a quad injury that sidelined him in Washington's season finale -- is in line to play a key role in a revamped Rams' secondary that also includes the newly added Darious Williams.
