Bledsoe (groin) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Packers. Bledsoe made his NFL debut last week against Baltimore, playing five defensive snaps behind safeties Devin McCourty, Adrian Phillips and Jabrill Peppers. While the exact nature and severity of his groin issue are still unknown, the 2021 sixth-round pick's next chance to suit up will come against the Lions on Oct. 9.

The Patriots placed Bledsoe (wrist) on the reserve/non-football injury list Wednesday. Bledsoe continues to rehab from offseason wrist surgery relating to an injury he suffered during the Senior Bowl. Now, the rookie sixth-round pick will be forced to miss at least the first six weeks of the season.
