  • Ferguson caught four of five targets for 24 yards while losing a fumble in Sunday's 34-6 loss to the Eagles. Ferguson led the Cowboys in receiving yardage in a game where the offense mustered just 66 passing yards. The tight end's mild output was virtually negated when he coughed up one of Dallas' four lost fumbles Sunday. Ferguson was an average fantasy option when Dak Prescott (hamstring) was under center, but with the latter possibly done for the season, it is safe to downgrade the Cowboys' position players if Cooper Rush continues to start against the Texans next Monday.

  • Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: TEs to Sit
    By Jamey Eisenberg

Ferguson has been held to 8.3 PPR points or less in two of his past three games, and he hasn't scored a touchdown all season. And now he's going from Dak Prescott (hamstring) to Cooper Rush in a tough matchup against the Eagles, who are No. 4 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. No tight end has scored a touchdown against Philadelphia this year, and only Cade Otton in Week 4 and Mike Gesicki in Week 8 have scored double digits in PPR points.

  • Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Sleeper TEs
    By Jamey Eisenberg

Ferguson has struggled for the past two games against Detroit and San Francisco with a combined nine catches for 34 yards and no touchdowns on 12 targets, but he should snap out of his slump in Week 9 at Atlanta. The Falcons have allowed three tight ends in their past five games to score at least 10.5 PPR points, and Dak Prescott should continue to lean on Ferguson in this game.

  • Cowboys' Jake Ferguson: Contrarian DFS Play
    By Heath Cummings

Ferguson has been a disappointment this season, but I like his chances to bounce back in a game against the Falcons with an over.under of 52.5. He has seen seven or more targets in four of his last five games, he just hasn't reached the end zone this year. I bet that changes in Week 9.
