Stone recorded nine tackles (seven solo) including 1.0 sacks during Sunday's 39-34 loss at Buffalo. Stone tied for his team's lead in tackles in a Week 14 shootout, adding on to what is already a career-best year in that category. With 93 tackles through 13 games, he could surpass the century mark in a Week 15 tilt versus the run-heavy Ravens.

Stone logged nine tackles (seven solo) in the Bengals' loss to the Jets on Sunday. Stone finished second on the team in tackles behind Demetrius Knight's 12. Stone is on pace to set a new career-high total in tackles, having already recorded 51 tackles (32 solo) across just eight games played. The 26-year-old will look to keep producing in the Week 9 matchup versus the Bears.

Stone recorded five tackles (three solo) and one pass defensed in Thursday's 33-31 win over the Steelers. Stone played 100 percent of defensive snaps for the fourth time this season and for the second consecutive game. He has at least five tackles in five of seven contests on the campaign.

Stone (undisclosed) is participating in Friday's practice, Paul Dehner Jr. of The Athletic reports. Stone has already been ruled out for Cincinnati's second preseason game, and that doesn't figure to change despite his return to practice. As he enters the final season of his two-year, $14 million contract, Stone remains positioned to reprise a starting role at safety, making it the Bengals' priority that he enters Week 1 at 100 percent health.

Stone is considered week-to-week due to a soft tissue injury and has been ruled out for the Bengals' second preseason game against the Commanders on Monday, Aug. 18, Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. Stone played just four defensive snaps during the Bengals' preseason loss to the Eagles on Thursday, and that may have been due to his injury. Given that it's training camp, Stone could also miss the Bengals' preseason finale against the Colts on Saturday, Aug. 23 in order to avoid aggravating the injury. If that were to be the case, Stone will aim to be fully healthy for Week 1 against the Colts. In the meantime, Tycen Anderson and Daijahn Anthony are the top candidates to work with the first-team defense at safety alongside Jordan Battle.
