  • Cardinals' Trey McBride: Top DFS Play
    By Heath Cummings

McBride has a 28.8% target share through two weeks. Marvin Harrison doesn't appear to be harming his volume, though he hasn't helped his efficiency as much as I had hoped yet either. Still, he's the clear top play on this slate in a shootout against the Detroit Lions.

  • McBride corralled all six of his targets for 67 yards in Sunday's 41-10 win over the Rams. He also scored a touchdown on a fumble recovery in the fourth quarter. The Cardinals dominated this contest from start to finish. The fact that McBride finished as the squad's second-leading receiver in a run-heavy game script bodes well for the starter's fantasy prospects this season. The 2022 second-round pick has quietly provided 11 receptions for 97 yards through two games in his first season as the No. 1 option on the depth chart. McBride provides fantasy managers with a safe option at a generally shallow position with some added upside as both his game and this young offense develop over the course of the season.

  • Cardinals' Trey McBride: Top DFS Play
    By Heath Cummings

McBride led his team i targets and led the position in air yards share, there's not reason to believe his Week 1 dud was anything other than variance. He's still my favorite tight end rest of season and he's by far my favorite tight end value in DFS this week.

  • McBride caught five of nine targets for 30 yards in Sunday's 34-28 loss to the Bills. McBride led the Cardinals in targets but delivered a middling performance in the competitive Week 1 loss. Arizona's entire passing game struggled, with no player posting more than 44 receiving yards. The 24-year-old tight end had more than 30 yards in each of his last eight games last season, so McBride's unlikely to remain this quiet in Week 2 against the Rams.

  • Cardinals' Trey McBride: Top DFS Play
    By Heath Cummings

McBride is my number one tight end for both the week and the season. He's priced as the third-most expensive tight end on the slate, 20% cheaper than Sam LaPorta. The Bills have traditionally been a tough matchup for tight ends, but they won't have Matt Milano, who has made a big difference in the past.
