  Pierce (concussion) won't practice Wednesday, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports. Pierce, who sustained a concussion during Sunday's loss to the Broncos, will have two more chances to practice this week before the Colts face off against the Titans. If Pierce is unable to play this weekend, Adonai Mitchell would be in line to see added opportunities alongside fellow wide receivers Michael Pittman and Josh Downs.

  Pierce caught two of six targets for 16 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 25-24 win over the Patriots. The third-year wideout dealt with a foot injury in practice this week, and while he was eventually cleared to play, Pierce appeared headed for a very quiet day until he caught a three-yard TD from Anthony Richardson with just 12 seconds left in the fourth quarter for what seemed to be the tying score. Rather than sending the game to overtime with an extra point though, coach Shane Steichen put the ball in Richardson's hands, and the young QB ran in a two-point conversion for the win. The touchdown was Pierce's fifth of the season after he managed only four across his first two NFL campaigns, and he'll get a bye in Week 14 to let his foot heal further.

  Pierce (foot) didn't participate in practice Thursday, James Boyd of The Athletic reports. Pierce was listed as a non-participant on Wednesday's practice estimate, so his absence from Thursday's session puts the focus on what he's able to do Friday in terms of his chances of playing Sunday against the Patriots. With Josh Downs (shoulder) also having logged consecutive DNPs, Michael Pittman and Adonai Mitchell currently are the Colts' top healthy wideout options.

The foot issue is a new one for Pierce, and it's especially notable with Josh Downs (shoulder) and Ashton Dulin (ankle) also listed as non-participants Wednesday. If none of the three get cleared to play Sunday against New England, Michael Pittman and Adonai Mitchell would be in line for heavy usage at wide receiver.

  Pierce had one reception (on four targets) for 39 yards in Sunday's 24-6 loss to the Lions. Pierce finished as the Colts' second-leading receiver in a game during which quarterback Anthony Richardson completed just 11 pass attempts. The 24-year-old Pierce did reach a new career high in single-season receiving yards (629) despite his one-catch performance. Pierce has played well overall given the murky QB situation in Indianapolis, keeping him in the conversation for deeper fantasy formats against the Patriots next Sunday.
