  Walker played in 13 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 102 tackles (72 solo), including 2.5 sacks, and two pass defenses. Walker missed the final three games of the regular season due to an ankle injury, but he was able to play in Green Bay's NFC wild-card loss to Philadelphia and finished with eight tackles (four solo) while playing 54 defensive snaps. Despite missing four regular-season games, Walker managed to reach the tackling century mark for the third straight season and led the Packers in that category in 2024. Walker could be tasked with more defensive responsibilities in 2025 if Isaiah McDuffie decides to take his talents elsewhere in free agency.

  Walker (ankle) is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Eagles, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports. Walker practiced for the first time since injuring his ankle in Week 15, logging a week of limited sessions. Despite the Georgia product being sidelined for four games this season, he remains the Packers' leading tackler with 102 stops in just 13 appearances. Walker would be a significant addition to Green Bay's defense if he can play Sunday, starting alongside rookie Edgerrin Cooper. If he's unable to play through his ankle issue, expect Isaiah McDuffie to serve as one of the Packers' starting inside linebackers in the wild-card round.

• Packers' Quay Walker: Returns to practice

  Walker (ankle) was a limited participant during practice Wednesday, Bill Huber of SI.com reports. Walker had yet to practice since suffering the injury in Week 15, so his return to the field in any capacity is a big step in the right direction. Head coach Matt LaFleur stated Monday that he was optimistic Walker could suit up Sunday against the Eagles, and he may now be on track to do so. Walker's practice status in the days ahead will still be worth monitoring though.

  Walker (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Bears. Walker was injured in Week 15 and has been sidelined ever since. He's yet to even practice since the injury. Walker wraps up the regular season with 102 tackles (72 solo), including nine TFLs and 2.5 sacks, and two pass breakups. Eric Wilson (100 percent of the defensive snaps) and Edgerrin Cooper (99 percent) played every-down linebacker roles for the Packers last Sunday against the Vikings.

• Packers' Quay Walker: DNP on Thursday

  Walker (ankle) did not practice Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Walker has been unable to practice or play since suffering an ankle injury during the Packers' Week 15 win against the Seahawks. The 2022 first-round pick won't likely play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Bears unless he practices in at least a limited capacity Friday. Isaiah McDuffie and Eric Wilson will continue to see increased snaps with the first-team defense for as long as Walker is sidelined.
