  Flott (quadriceps) was not listed on the Giants' injury report Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports. Flott sustained a quadriceps injury in mid-August, which kept him out of the Giants' final two preseason games. Now that he's healthy, he'll be able to work with the first-team defense during practice. The 2022 third-round pick is slated to start at corner opposite Deonte Banks, with Adoree' Jackson providing depth at the position.

  Flott is still considered week-to-week with a quad injury, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports. The 2022 third-round pick out of LSU missed the Giants' last week of practice with this quad issue, and it appears that he still needs more time before returning to the field. While Flott remains sidelined, expect Darnay Holmes and Tre Hawkins to see more reps with the Giants' first-team defense.

  Flott tallied 36 tackles (25 solo) and five defensed passes, including one interception, over 14 games in 2023. Flott missed the first three games of the campaign due primarily to a hamstring injury, but he took over as the Giants' slot corner in Week 4 and logged at least half of the team's defensive snaps in all but three weeks thereafter. The 2022 third-round draft pick performed competently in the role and recorded his first career pickoff in Week 10 against Dallas. Flott has two years remaining on his rookie deal and figures to enter next season slated for a workload similar to that which he was given in 2023.

  Flott was ejected from the Giants' game versus the Commanders on Sunday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports. Flott was ejected alongside Curtis Samuel after a fight broke out between the two teams following a Sam Howell rushing touchdown. With the 22-year-old now done for the day, Tre Hawkins and Darnay Holmes should see increased playing time.

Flott was a full participant at practice Friday, and there's now no doubt as to his status for Week 11. With Adoree' Jackson out due to a concussion, Flott could be in line for an expanded role Sunday.
