  Hadden (hip) played in Saturday's preseason game against the Colts. Hadden logged 40 defensive snaps and finished with seven tackles (four solo), so he appears to be well past the hip issue that hampered him earlier in the month.

  Hadden (hip) didn't practice Friday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports. Hadden was selected in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft by the Chiefs but didn't make the team out of training camp and signed with the Packers' practice squad, where he spent much of his rookie season. Hadden saw action in two regular-season contests but didn't record a tackle on seven special-teams snaps.

  The Chiefs selected Hadden in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 211th overall. Hadden started his career at famed JUCO, Independence Community College in Kansas. He got himself onto Tennessee's radar and made 15 starts for the Volunteers over three seasons. He has good length for a corner at 6-foot-1 but has suspect foot speed (4.57). Hadden also had a number of injuries that cost him time at Tennessee. If he can avoid the injury bug, Hadden could stick in the Kansas City secondary.
