Jones (shoulder) was limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable ahead of Sunday's game against the Texans. Jones sustained a shoulder injury during the Jaguars' Week 3 loss to the Bills. He was able to practice in a limited capacity all week, and he has given himself a shot at playing in Sunday's AFC South clash. Christian Braswell saw extended playing time at nickel corner after Jones was injured, and the former could be elevated from the Jags' practice squad in case the latter is unable to play Sunday.

Jones has been ruled out of the remainder of Jacksonville's matchup versus the Bills on Monday due to shoulder injury, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Jones will be unable to return after suffering a shoulder injury during the team's first defensive possession. In his absence, Christian Braswell will likely see increased playing time.

Jones exited Monday night's game against the Bills with a shoulder injury and is questionable to return, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports. Jones was injured on a red-zone play on the Jaguars' first defensive possession. He walked off the field under his own power and was holding his arm close to his body. Jones is the team's nickel corner.

The Jaguars selected Jones in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 96th overall. Jones (6-feet, 190 pounds) didn't have as much hype as Florida State teammate and second-round Buffalo selection Renardo Green, but Jones was a good starting corner in his own right for the Seminoles and actually had the better athletic testing of the two players. Jones' arms are probably too short for press coverage, but his 4.38-second 40-yard dash, 39.5-inch vertical and 129-inch broad jump indicate uncommon vertical range. Jones will compete with the likes of Montaric Brown and Darnell Savage for reps behind starting corners Tyson Campbell and Ronald Darby.
