• Texans' C.J. Stroud: Two TD passes in OT loss

  Stroud completed 17 of 28 passes for 153 yards and two touchdowns in Sunday's 27-21 overtime loss to the Giants. He added two rushing attempts for four yards and threw a successful two-point conversion. Stroud threw a six-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Harrison in the final minute of the first half and added a two-point conversion to Cade Stover to tie the score at 14-14 heading into halftime. Houston's next points didn't come until the final minute of the fourth quarter, when Stroud found Xavier Hutchinson for a three-yard touchdown that sent the game to overtime. The Texans went three-and-out on the first possession of OT, and the Giants responded with a touchdown to drop the Texans to 2-5 heading into Houston's Week 8 bye. It's hard to blame Stroud for the team's poor record given his strong 11:1 TD:INT.

  Stroud is back to performing like he did as a rookie -- if not better. He's scored at least 22.9 Fantasy points in three games in a row coming into Week 7 against the Giants, and he has at least 20.5 Fantasy points in all four games with Nico Collins on the field. Stroud just had his best game of the season in Week 6 at Jacksonville in London in the first outing with Marvin Harrison Jr., and the Texans are expected to get Tank Dell (knee) back against New York. The Giants are No. 7 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and Matthew Stafford, Jayden Daniels and Tyler Shough each had at least 32.3 Fantasy points against this defense in three of the past five games. I expect Stroud to stay hot in this matchup at home.

  Stroud completed 24 of 34 passes for 312 yards and three touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 34-31 win over the Jaguars. He added five yards on his only carry. With Marvin Harrison making his Texans debut, Stroud spread the ball around to 10 different pass catchers as he set a new season high in TD passes and topped 300 yards for the third time in six games. The QB did throw his first INT of the season at a potentially crucial time, getting picked off by Travis Hunter in the end zone in the fourth quarter, but Stroud made up for it by putting together a game-winning field goal drive as time expired on his next possession. He'll take a 9:1 TD:INT into a Week 7 clash with the Giants.

  Stroud is off to a good start this season as a Fantasy quarterback, and things just got better for him heading into Week 6 against Jacksonville in London with the addition of Marvin Harrison Jr. Stroud is worth using as a low-end starter in all leagues. He has played three games this year with Nico Collins, and Stroud has scored at least 20.5 Fantasy points in all three outings, including two in a row against Dallas and Tennessee. Now, Stroud gets to throw passes to Collins and Harrison, who was acquired from Arizona via trade. Stroud doesn't have an easy matchup in Week 6 against the Jaguars, who are No. 7 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks. Joe Burrow is the lone quarterback with more than 20 Fantasy points against Jacksonville, which includes matchups against Deshaun Watson, Bo Nix, Drake Maye and Jalen Hurts. But Stroud has scored at least 24.6 Fantasy points in three of five career meetings with the Jaguars. And now he has an upgraded receiving corps with Harrison joining the Texans. This should be another productive game for Stroud in Week 6.

  Stroud completed 26 of 34 passes for 261 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 26-3 win over the Titans. He added five rushing yards and a TD on six carries. Neither team had gotten the ball into the end zone at halftime, but Stroud fixed that by scampering for a two-yard TD in the third quarter before finding Jaylin Noel for a nine-yard score in the fourth. Despite the Texans' 1-4 record, Stroud still has yet to throw an INT this season, compiling a 6:0 TD:INT in five games, and he hasn't committed a turnover since Week 1. The fourth-year QB also has reinforcements coming for his receiving corps after Houston traded for Marvin Harrison on Sunday. Stroud will look to build on this performance in a Week 6 clash with the Jaguars.
