Coker and the Panthers agreed on a three-year, $35 million contract extension with incentives up to $41 million Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Coker was entering a contract year after signing his exclusive-rights free-agent tender with Carolina in April, but he will now be under contract for the next few seasons. The wide receiver has combined to catch 65 of 89 targets for 872 yards and five touchdowns over 22 regular-season contests in his first two NFL campaigns. He is set to enter the 2026 season as the Panthers' primary slot receiver, and he'll look to take a step up in production after his big payday.

Carolina placed an placed exclusive rights free agent tender on Coker on Wednesday, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports. Coker will thus stick with the Panthers on a one-year deal through the 2026 season. He missed the first six games of 2025 due to a quad injury, then logged a 33-394-3 receiving line across his 11 following regular-season appearances. Coker's highlight performance came during his postseason debut, however, when he secured nine of 12 targets for 134 yards and a touchdown during Carolina's wild-card round loss to the Rams. With another offseason of development under his belt, Coker will be a genuine candidate to step up alongside Tetairoa McMillan as one of the Panthers' clear top wideouts during the 2026 season.
-
Coker caught both his targets for 16 yards in Sunday's 27-10 loss to the Seahawks. Incredibly, he led the Panthers in receiving yards, as Bryce Young was almost completely shut down by the Seattle defense. Despite the struggles of the Carolina offense, Coker was able to extend his streak of games with multiple catches to seven, a stretch in which the slot receiver has compiled a 23-302-2 line on 29 targets. Coker may need to step up further in Week 18 against the Buccaneers with the NFC South, and a playoff spot, on the line with a Carolina win. Note that the Panthers can also win the division if the Falcons win their next two games, no matter what Carolina does in the finale.
-
Coker only had three catches for 47 yards on five targets in Week 16 against Tampa Bay, but he could be a No. 3 Fantasy receiver in Week 17 against Seattle. The Panthers might have to throw more than usual against the Seahawks, who are dealing with injuries on defense, and Coker scored at least 14 PPR points in each of his two previous games prior to facing the Buccaneers.
-
Coker caught three of five targets for 47 yards in the Panthers' 23-20 win over the Bucs on Sunday. Coker has drawn between four and six targets in six straight games as the distant second or third option in the Carolina offense behind rookie Tetairoa McMillan. Coker has yet to hit 75 yards in any single game this season and has settled in as a low-ceiling fantasy option ahead of next Sunday's game against the Seahawks.
