• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Manages solid rushing total in shutout

  Robinson rushed 19 times for 76 yards and failed to bring in his only target in the Falcons' 16-0 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. It was a bizarre afternoon overall in very rain conditions in Tampa Bay, and Robinson managed to salvage his day with a solid rushing yardage total. Robinson's tally on the ground was actually his best since Week 5, although his streak of games without a rushing touchdown extended to four games. Robinson is still averaging 5.2 yards per carry on the season and is now up to 983 scrimmage yards and five total touchdowns heading into next Sunday's Week 9 matchup against the Bengals in Madrid.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Solid production in Week 7 win

  Robinson rushed 20 times for 63 yards and brought in all five targets for 59 yards in the Falcons' 29-20 win over the 49ers on Sunday. As his rushing line suggests, Robinson was mostly held in check by a stout 49ers front. The All-Pro running back's longest run of the day went for only 12 yards, but Robinson did find a way to make up some of the fantasy production as a receiver. Robinson finished tied for second in receptions and targets while checking in as the runner-up in receiving yards for the Falcons on the afternoon, and his numbers in the first two categories were his second highest of the campaign. Robinson has seen a downturn in opportunity and production since rushing for 339 combined yards in Weeks 3 and 4, and he'll look to reverse that trend in a Week 8 road matchup against a tough Buccaneers run defense.

  Robinson rushed nine times for 61 yards and brought in both targets for minus-8 yards in the Falcons' 31-23 loss to the Bears on Sunday. While the final score wouldn't suggest it, the Falcons had to abandon the run fairly early Sunday, as the Bears already had a 21-7 lead at halftime before Atlanta made things somewhat interesting with a 16-point fourth quarter. Robinson therefore finished with his lowest rush attempt and rushing yardage totals of the season, although he did manage to average an impressive 6.8 yards per carry. Robinson may have an uphill battle to get back to a truly normal workload in Week 7 as well, as a high-powered 49ers offense that also has the ability to jump out to commanding leads comes to town next Sunday.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Posts 118 scrimmage yards in OT loss

  Robinson rushed 17 times for 86 yards while catching four of seven targets for 32 yards in Sunday's 30-23 overtime loss to the Ravens. Robinson was held without a touchdown after scoring four times over the previous two games, but he managed to top 100 scrimmage yards for the fourth time in five games. The star running back was far more effective than backup Brian Robinson, who also had four touchdowns over the previous two games but turned seven carries and one target into just 16 yards against the Ravens. Bijan has racked up 732 scrimmage yards and five total TDs heading into a Week 6 home game against the Bears. Michael Penix (ribs) was hurt late in Sunday night's loss to Baltimore, so it remains to be seen whether Penix or Tua Tagovailoa will start under center for Atlanta against Chicago.

• Falcons' Bijan Robinson: Another dominant effort Monday

  Robinson rushed 19 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns and brought in one of two targets for two yards in the Falcons' 45-24 win over the Saints on Monday night. Fresh off a 194-yard, two-touchdown effort against the Packers that kicked off the Week 3 slate back on Sept. 24, a well-rested Robinson put together a very similar performance, albeit with a slight reduction in workload. Robinson set the tone just three plays into the contest, capping off the opening possession with a 59-yard touchdown run down the left side of the field. He came back just before the opening period ending with a four-yard scoring rush, and he then ceded three other red-zone opportunities in the second half to backfield mate Brian Robinson. Bijan already has 494 rushing yards and four touchdowns on the ground through his first four contests, and the switch to Michael Penix at quarterback has led to the star running back's top two efforts to date this season. Robinson next takes aim at a tough Ravens defense in a Week 5 home matchup Sunday night.
