  • Campbell recorded three tackles (three solo), including 1.0 sack, during Sunday's 20-17 win versus the Jaguars. Being badly banged up on the edge, Miami leaned on Campbell some to provide a pass rush in Week 1, and the veteran delivered solid production. Given his age, there's probably a cap on his playing time in any given game, meaning Campbell will be tough to rely on for IDP production as the season progresses.

  • Campbell finished 2023 with 56 tackles (32 solo), 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one pass defense in 17 appearances. After three years in Baltimore, Campbell signed a one-year deal with Atlanta to revamp a poor pass rush. Jessie Bates' presence also had a major impact on the Falcons' defensive turnaround, but Campbell's contributions shouldn't go unnoticed, as he notched his most sacks in a season since 2019. Given the strong pairing, it wouldn't be surprising to see the Falcons try to bring the veteran back for his age-38 season, though Campbell may have a list of suitors after a healthy 2023 campaign.

  • Campbell (illness) was a full participant at the Falcons' practice Friday. Campbell opened the week on the injury report due to an illness, but he now appears to be all set to play Sunday versus the Colts. The defensive lineman has recorded 17 tackles, including a sack, over four games since Atlanta's Week 11 bye.

  • Campbell notched four tackles (three solo) and one sack during Sunday's 24-16 loss to the Commanders. The sack was the 100th of his career, making one of just five active NFL players to hit that special mark. Campbell signed with the Falcons this offseason and was expected to revitalize one of the worst pass-rushing groups in the NFL. He's been a solid presence for Atlanta thus far, but it took until Week 6 to record his first sack. Campbell hasn't recorded a double-digit sack season since 2018, and it doesn't look like that'll change this year.

  • Ravens' Calais Campbell: Inactive Sunday
    By RotoWire

Campbell (knee) is inactive for Sunday's night's game against the Steelers, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports. Campbell, who returned to a limited practiced Friday, approached the contest listed as questionable, but after going through a full pregame workout he'll sit this one out. The defensive end -- who last suited up in Week 15 -- will target a potential return to action next weekend against the Bengals.
