  • Jake Bates K | DET

Lions' Jake Bates: Quiet day in Arizona

Bates didn't attempt a field goal and went 2-for-3 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 20-13 win over the Cardinals.

Bates saw limited opportunities on Sunday in Arizona as Detroit's offense never stalled out in field goal range. Additionally, he hooked his second PAT try of the day in the second quarter, marking his first miss of any kind in 2024. Bates has now gone 5-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 5-for-6 on extra-point kicks through three games this season. He'll look to be more involved when the Lions take on the Seahawks at home on Monday Night Football in Week 4.

  • Blake Grupe K | IND

Saints' Blake Grupe: Hits two FGs in Sunday's loss

Grupe went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts during Sunday's 15-12 loss to the Eagles.

Grupe connected on field-goal tries of 34 and 38 yards to remain perfect through the first three games of the season. The 5-foot-7 kicker didn't get any point-after tries Week 3, as the Saints came up short on a two-point conversion attempt following their lone touchdown of the game. Grupe has been one of the NFL's most productive kickers thanks to the Saints' high-scoring offense over the first two games of the year. This unit will look to get back on track during next Sunday's road matchup versus the division-rival Falcons.

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: No field goals

Gay made all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 21-16 win over the Bears.

Gay spent the week dealing with a quadriceps injury but was still able to handle kicking duties for the Colts in Week 3. The Utah product wasn't needed often, though, and didn't have the opportunity to attempt a field goal. Next week Gay and the Colts will host the Steelers.

  • Vikings' Will Reichard: Stays perfect

Reichard made both all four extra-point tries and both of his field-goal attempts in Sunday's 34-7 win over the Texans.

Reichard has yet to miss during his rookie campaign and added 35- and 58-yard field makes to his resume in Week 3. The rookie is now 5-for-5 on FGAs and 10-for-10 on PATs this season. He and the Vikings will head to Green Bay for Week 4.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Misses lone field goal

Elliott made his only extra-point attempt, but he missed a field-goal try in the Eagles' 15-12 win over the Saints on Sunday.

Elliott's miss came from 60 yards out and was wide right. At the time the Eagles were trailing 7-6 in the fourth quarter. It was the Memphis product's first miss of the season, and he's now 4-for-5 on FGAs for the season. Next up for Elliott and Philadelphia is a Week 4 matchup with the Buccaneers.

  • Joshua Karty K | ARI

Rams' Joshua Karty: Active versus 49ers

Karty (groin) is listed as active Sunday's game against the 49ers, Cameron DaSilva of USA Today reports.

Karty approached the contest listed as questionable after returning to a limited practice Friday. He'll be available Sunday, but the 0-2 Rams' kicker will be working behind a short-handed offense that is minus its top two wide receivers, Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee).

  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: Ready for Week 3

Gay (quadriceps) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Bears.

After sitting out Week 1 due to still being in recovery mode from sports hernia surgery, Gay made his season debut this past Sunday in Green Bay, making his only point-after try but just one of two field-goal attempts. He then sat out Wednesday's practice with a quad injury, only to cap the week with back-to-back full sessions. Gay thus is set to play versus a Chicago team that sits in a tie for sixth in the NFL in terms of points against at 18.0 per game.

  • Joshua Karty K | ARI

Rams' Joshua Karty: Questionable with groin injury

Karty (groin) officially is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the 49ers, Gary Klein of the Los Angeles Times reports.

If Karty is unable to play through his groin injury, Tanner Brown would take over kicking duties for Los Angeles. Scoring opportunities could be hard to come by Sunday for a Rams offense without its top two wide receivers Cooper Kupp (ankle) and Puka Nacua (knee) against San Francisco's stout defense.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Another low-volume game

Zuerlein made one of two field-goal attempts and all three PAT tries in Thursday's 24-3 win over the Patriots.

Zuerlein contributed only one of the NFL-record 73 field goals made in Week 2, and he converted just one yet again Thursday. The Jets have been efficient when they get into scoring range early this season, with nine touchdowns compared to only three field-goal attempts, and Zuerlein shanked a 45-yard attempt late in the first half Thursday before bouncing back with a 28-yard field goal in the fourth quarter.

  • Joshua Karty K | ARI

Rams' Joshua Karty: Still not practicing

Karty (groin) didn't practice Thursday, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.

With back-to-back absences to open Week 3 prep, Karty is trending in the wrong direction to be available for Sunday's game against the 49ers. The Rams could signal whether or not Karty has a chance to play this weekend on its final injury report of the week Friday or by elevating Tanner Brown from the practice squad Saturday. In the end, one of Karty or Brown will be L.A.'s placekicker for Week 3.
