Eddy Pineiro K | SF
49ers' Eddy Pineiro: Full practice Wednesday
Pineiro (right hamstring) practiced in full Wednesday.
Pineiro sat out the 49ers' last two games before a Week 14 bye due to a right hamstring injury, but when the team cut Matt Gay from its practice squad Tuesday, it signaled that the former was in line to return Week 15. With an uncapped practice under his belt, he'll resume placekicking duties Sunday against the Titans.

Blake Grupe K | IND
Colts' Blake Grupe: Signed from practice squad
The Colts signed Grupe to the active roster from the practice squad Wednesday.
Grupe was elevated to make his Colts debut during the team's Week 14 loss to the Jaguars, in which he converted both of his field-goal tries and his only extra-point attempt. With the team having cut Michael Badgley and with Spencer Shrader (knee) out for the year, Grupe figures to operate as Indianapolis' kicker for the remainder of the 2025 campaign, assuming he's able to keep up his consistency. Next on deck for Grupe and the Colts is a road matchup against Seattle on Sunday.

Matt Gay K | SF
Matt Gay: Cut by San Francisco
The 49ers released Gay from their practice squad Tuesday.
Gay stepped in as the 49ers' kicker for the team's last two games while Eddy Pineiro (hamstring) was sidelined and went a perfect 8-for-8 on kicks (four field goals, four extra points). The 49ers' decision to part ways with Gay signals that Pineiro is healthy coming out of the team's Week 14 bye and ready to handle kicking duties Sunday versus the Titans.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: Misses kick in loss
Elliott connected on 4-of-5 field goals and made his sole extra point attempt in Monday night's 22-19 loss to the Chargers.
Elliott's longest kick of the night was a 54-yarder that cut the Eagles' deficit to four points late in the third quarter. The kicker overall had a good night, with the only stain on his stat line being a 48-yard miss before halftime. Saints' Charlie Smyth: Returns to practice squad
Smyth reverted to the Saints' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Smyth was elevated for the second week in a row, going 1-for-2 on field-goal attempts while making all three of his PATs in Sunday's 24-20 victory over the Buccaneers. The kicker will have a good shot to added to the active roster again in Week 15 versus the Panthers.

Blake Grupe K | IND
Colts' Blake Grupe: Back to practice squad
Grupe reverted to the Colts' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Grupe was elevated to the Colts' active roster for Sunday's game against the Jaguars, during which he connected on both of his field-goal attempts and his lone point-after try. He served as the Colts' starting placekicker ahead of Michael Badgley, and Grupe should have another opportunity to kick this Sunday against the Seahawks.

Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Shaky performance in defeat
Butker went 1-for-2 on field-goal tries and made his only PAT in Sunday night's 20-10 loss to the Texans.
Butker connected with the right upright on a 43-yard field-goal attempt late in the first half before later narrowly sneaking a 36-yard try inside the left upright in the third quarter. The missed field-goal attempt was his first since Week 4, and he hadn't missed a try from under 50 yards since the week prior. On the year, Butker has gone 22-for-26 on field-goal attempts, including 3-for-5 from 50-plus yards, while making 28 of 32 extra-point tries over 13 contests.

Jake Moody K | WAS
Commanders' Jake Moody: No kicks in Week 14
Moody did not attempt a field goal or an extra-point try in Sunday's 31-0 loss to the Vikings.
Moody was blanked along with his team in Week 14, failing to attempt a kick for the first time over five contests with the 49ers, Bears and Commanders this year. The kicker will look to break a sweat in Week 15 against the Giants.
