  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Makes pair of kicks in Week 3 loss

Borregales converted two of three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 35-6 loss to the Jaguars. Borregales accounted for New England's scoring with 35- and 40-yard field goals but missed one from 38 yards in the third quarter. The second-year kicked has had a bit of a shaky start to the 2026 season, making just five of seven field-goal tries while going 3-for-3 on extra points. Kicking in an offense that is struggling to score points, Borregales isn't a recommended fantasy kicker ahead of next Sunday's date with the Bills.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Misses 47-yard field goal in Week 2 win

Borregales went 2-for-3 on field-goal tries and made both of his extra-point attempts during the Patriots' 20-3 win over the Steelers on Sunday. After a rather quiet Week 1 performance, Borregales was more involved in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh. He connected on a 30-yard field goal in the second quarter before missing a 47-yard try in the third, though Borregales bounced back by making a 45-yard FG later in the period. The second-year kicker has gone 3-for-4 on field-goal attempts and 3-for-3 on extra-point tries through the first two games of the 2026 regular season.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Makes two kicks in loss

Borregales made his sole field-goal attempt and his only PAT try in Wednesday night's 13-10 loss to the Seahawks. Borregales had minimal usage in Sunday's contest, but he drilled a 50-yard field goal that extended New England's lead to 10-0 at the start of the third quarter. The kicker will likely see more action in subsequent games as the team's offense gets back on track against some easier defenses.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Bounces back in preseason win

Borregales made his only field-goal attempt, from 41 yards out, and connected on all three extra-point tries in the Patriots' 24-21 preseason win over the Eagles on Saturday. Borregales had a shaky preseason opener against the Colts where he misfired on three field-goal attempts, but the UM product was able to convert every opportunity presented to him Saturday. Borregales does ostensibly have some slack after posting respective 84.4 percent and 96.4 percent success rates on field goals and PATs as a rookie in 2025, following up those solid numbers by making four of six field-goal attempts and all seven extra-point tries in New England's four-game postseason run.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Misses three kicks Thursday

Borregales converted just two of five field-goal attempts in Thursday night's preseason opener against the Colts. Coach Mike Vrabel wasn't thrilled after Borregales missed kicks from 56, 55 and 49 yards. "I don't have a message [for him]," Vrabel said, via Mike Kadlick of CLNSMedia.com. "We're expected to make them. That's pro football." Borregales is the only kicker on the Patriots' roster at the moment, but based on Vrabel's comments, it wouldn't be a shock if New England brings in competition for the remainder of the summer. As a rookie last season, Borregales made 27 of 32 field-goal tries and 53 of 55 PATs across 17 regular-season contests.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Wraps regular season with one miss

Borregales converted one of two field-goal attempts and all five of his extra-point tries during New England's 38-10 win over the Dolphins in Sunday's regular-season finale. Borregales wraps the regular season of his rookie campaign having suited up for all 17 games, and converting 27 of 32 field-goal attempts (84 percent) and 53 of 55 extra-point tries. Impressively, Borregales has converted all four of his attempts from 50-plus yards out so far. He'll look to remain steady as the Patriots enter the AFC Playoffs, beginning with Sunday's wild-card round matchup against the Chargers.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Converts four FGAs in win

Borregales went 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts and made all three of his PATs in Monday night's 33-15 victory over the Giants. Borregales was able to make four field goals for the second straight week, converting attempts from 22, 30 and 28 yards in the first half before adding a 23-yarder in the fourth. The kicker wasn't perfect in Week 13 though, pushing a 45-yard try wide left in the third quarter, marking his third missed field-goal attempt of the year. The rookie has now gone 23-for-26 on field-goal tries, including 3-for-3 from 50-plus yards, while making 36 of 38 extra-point attempts over 13 contests this year.

  • Patriots' Andy Borregales: Drills game winner in Buffalo

Borregales went 3-for-3 on field-goal tries, including a 52-yard game winner in the final minute, and 2-for-2 on extra-point attempts in Sunday's 23-20 win over the Bills. The kicker hit the decisive field goal right down the middle with more than enough distance to spare. He also made a 30-yarder and a 19-yarder in the first half, both of which proved decisive as well. The sixth-round draft pick missed a field goal in Week 1 and two extra points in Week 2, but he has been perfect since.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: No FGAs in Loss

Borregales did not attempt a field goal and made both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 21-14 loss to the Steelers. Borregales wasn't particularly busy in Week 3 as the Patriots squandered many scoring opportunities, turning the ball over five times in the loss. The kicker will look to be more active in the team's matchup with the Panthers in Week 4 . Through three games in his rookie campaign, Borregales has gone 4-for-5 on field-goal attempts and 4-for-6 on PATs.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Misses one FG in loss

Borregales went 2-for-3 on field-goal attempts and made his lone extra-point try in the Patriots' 20-13 loss to the Raiders on Sunday. Borregales beat out John Parker Romo for the Patriots' kicking job over the summer. He pushed a 40-yard attempt wide to the right on his first field-goal try in the second quarter Sunday but came back to make his next two, converting from 35 and 44 yards. Borregales was selected in the sixth round of the 2025 Draft out of Miami.

  • Patriots' Andres Borregales: Wins kicking competition

The Patriots are releasing John Parker Romo, leaving Borregales as the lone kicker on their roster, Mark Daniels of MassLive.com reports. Drafted in the sixth round this spring, Borregales made three of five field-goal attempts and all six of his PATs this preseason, with misses coming from 57 and 49 yards out. He was the starting kicker the past four seasons at the University of Miami, where he converted 74 of 86 field-goal attempts (86.0 percent) and 183 of 184 PATs. Borregales could be useful as a streamer this season, but he'll rightfully go undrafted in most fantasy leagues, as there are plenty of other kickers who have more experience and/or play for teams that are projected to be more productive than the Patriots.
