49ers' Jake Moody: Won't play Week 8
Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Monday that Moody (ankle) won't play in next Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Cam Inman of The San Jose Mercury News reports.
The 49ers have a Week 9 bye, so Moody will get another two weeks to heal from his right ankle sprain. Anders Carlson will again kick for San Francisco after he made both of his field-goal attempts (from 55 and 24 yards) against Kansas City. Carlson, however, missed his one extra-point try.

Anders Carlson K | NYJ
49ers' Anders Carlson: Kicks two FGs on Sunday
Carlson went 2-for-2 on field-goal attempts and missed his only point-after try in Sunday's 28-18 loss to the Chiefs.
Carlson made his debut for the 49ers on Sunday and made kicks from 24 and 55 yards out. The former Packers placekicker missed his only PAT, and it was a so-so debut from a fantasy standpoint. If Jake Moody (ankle) is unable to suit up for Sunday's tilt against the Cowboys, Carlson would likely earn another start with San Francisco.

Jake Elliott K | PHI
Eagles' Jake Elliott: No field goals required in blowout
Elliott made all four extra-point tries but didn't attempt any field goals in Sunday's 28-3 win over the Giants.
The Eagles ran all over the Giants, but that success didn't translate to much fantasy value for their kicker. Elliott has only attempted a total of eight field goals through six games this season, making six. Both marks rank 31st among all kickers.

Joshua Karty K | LAR
Rams' Joshua Karty: Struggles in victory
Karty missed his only field-goal attempt and made two of three PAT attempts during Sunday's 20-15 victory against the Raiders.
The rookie kicker missed an extra point for the second consecutive game, and sent a 35-yard field-goal attempt into the left upright in the fourth quarter, a field goal that was critical because it would have pushed the Rams into a two-possession lead over the Raiders. Karty had been a reliable kicker through the Rams' first four games, but a trio of misses in his last two games will be something to monitor going forward, with a tough task at hand in Week 8 against one of the top teams in the NFC in the Vikings.

Will Reichard K | MIN
Vikings' Will Reichard: Stays busy in loss
Reichard made both extra-point tries and all three field-goal attempts in Sunday's 31-29 loss to the Lions.
Reichard remained flawless in Week 7, making field goals from 57, 42 and 48 yards out in the process. The rookie kicker is now 12-for-12 on FGAs and 18-for-18 on PATs this season, including an impressive 4-for-4 on kicks of 50-plus yards. Reichard and the Vikings will travel to Los Angeles next for a Thursday tilt with the Rams.

Tyler Bass K | BUF
Bills' Tyler Bass: Perfect in easy win
Bass made both of his two field-goal tries and converted all four of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 34-10 win versus the Titans.
The longest field goal Bass made in Week 7 (30 yards) was actually shorter than an extra point, so his share of Buffalo's points came with relative ease. He's been mostly solid so far this season and should have a high fantasy floor as long as the Bills' offense keeps putting up points in bunches.
-
Brandon McManus K | GB
Packers' Brandon McManus: Makes game-winning kick
McManus made all three extra points he attempted and a game-winning 45-yard field goal as time expired in Sunday's 24-22 victory over the Texans.
McManus replaced Brayden Narveson as Green Bay's kicker last week, and it took him no time at all to make an impact for his new team. The Packers have been seeking consistency at the kicker spot for a while, so he figures to hold down the job for a team that ranks seventh in the league at 26.6 points per game with two games to go in Week 7.
-
Harrison Butker K | KC
Chiefs' Harrison Butker: No field goals in win
Butker made all four of his extra-point tries but did not attempt a field goal in Sunday's 28-18 win at San Francisco.
Sunday's game was the Chiefs' first this season in which they did not attempt a field goal. Butker has been solid on the chances he has gotten thus far this year though, and he'll be kicking indoors in Week 8 at Las Vegas.
-
Joey Slye K | NE
Patriots' Joey Slye: Not heavily involved in loss
Slye made his only field-goal try and converted his only extra-point attempt in Sunday's 32-16 loss to the Jaguars.
Slye's 41-yarder early in the second quarter put the Patriots up 10-0, but momentum quickly swung in Jacksonville's favor afterwards, leaving Slye without any further scoring chances. Though New England's office has improved since Drake Maye took over as starter, it remains one of the worst in the league by many metrics so far this season, rendering Slye non-viable in most fantasy formats.

Evan McPherson K | CIN
Bengals' Evan McPherson: Misses lone try at Cleveland
McPherson missed his only field-goal try and converted all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 21-14 win at Cleveland.
A 50-yard try late in the fourth quarter would have extended the Bengals' lead to three scores, but McPherson pushed it wide right. His accuracy to start this season hasn't been totally up to par with the standard he's set for himself over the course of his career, but he should have a chance to make positive corrections as the year progresses if Cincinnati's offense continues to have success moving the ball.
