  • Matt Gay K | SF

Colts' Matt Gay: Makes five kicks

Gay made both of his field-goal tries and all three of his extra-point attempts in Sunday's 27-13 win over the Panthers.

Gay converted from 26 and a season-long 57 yards on his field goals. Through nine games, he's converted 16 of 18 field goals and all 24 of his PATS, totaling 72 points.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Zero field-goal attempts in win

Elliott didn't attempt a single field goal in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Cowboys but did convert all four of his extra points.

The Eagles offense has been better at getting into the end zone in recent weeks, to the detriment of Elliott's fantasy value. Over the first five games, he averaged 3.4 field goal attempts and 2.4 extra points. Over the last five contests, he's averaged just 0.8 field-goal attempts but 3.8 extra points. The Eagles will hope that trend continues after their Week 10 bye.

  • Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Two more FGs, no PATs Monday

Zuerlein made both of his field-goal attempts in Monday's 27-6 loss to the Chargers.

Zuerlein connected from 47 yards in the second quarter and from 46 in the third. The veteran kicker has made all but one of his 19 field-goal attempts in 2023, as well as all six PAT attempts. New York's inability to score touchdowns should continue creating plenty of opportunities for Zuerlein to kick field goals moving forward.

  • Matt Ammendola: Gets new opportunity

Ammendola signed with the Texans' practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Ammendola has a chance to be Houston's kicker for Sunday's game against the Bengals, and possibly beyond, with Ka'imi Fairbairn expected to miss roughly three weeks with a strained quadriceps. The former's addition comes after a successful workout with the team and four games played in 2022 between the Cardinals and Chiefs where he made 5-of-7 FGAs. Assuming Fairbairn cannot play Sunday, Ammendola will be in line to be elevated from the practice squad ahead of the matchup.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Multi-week absence expected

Fairbairn is expected to miss about three weeks due to a strained quadriceps suffered in Sunday's win over the Buccaneers, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Fairbairn was unable to return to the contest after suffering the injury, and kicking duties were turned over to running back Dare Ogunbowale for the remainder of the game. With no bye week ahead and a multi-week absence expected, Matt Ammendola was signed to the Texans' practice squad after a successful workout. Assuming Fairbairn misses Week 10 against the Bengals, Ammendola will likely be elevated from the practice squad ahead of the contest.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Cardinals' Matt Prater: Puts up goose egg in Week 9

Prater played only one snap on special teams during Sunday's 27-0 defeat at Cleveland.

A moribund Cardinals offense led by rookie fifth-round quarterback Clayton Tune produced just 58 net yards of offense and never got the ball past the Browns' 40-yard line. As a result, Prater's only action of the day was a kickoff to begin the second half. The impending returns of quarterback Kyler Murray (knee) from the reserve/PUP list and running back James Conner (knee) from injured reserve could change Prater's fortunes for the better, but his recent tallies (four, four and zero points) leave a lot to be desired.

  • Chargers' Cameron Dicker: Nails career-long field goal

Dicker converted on both of his field-goal attempts and all three extra-point attempts in the 27-6 win over the Jets on Monday.

Dicker's 55-yard field goal to end the first half was easily a career long and marks his fourth made field goal from 50-plus yards out this season. Usually known as a reliable kicker from shorter distances, the second-year starter has become a bit more consistent even from longer distances and is situated in one of the better offenses in the league.

  • Buccaneers' Chase McLaughlin: Productive in high-scoring loss

McLaughlin made field-goal attempts of 35, 49 and 55 yards and drilled all four extra-point tries in the Buccaneers' 39-37 loss to the Texans on Sunday.

One week after logging just two field-goal attempts and having one blocked, McLaughlin was the other end of the spectrum in terms of opportunity. The high-scoring affair led to McLaughlin racking up a season-high 13 points while connecting on his fourth field goal of 50+ yards this season. McLaughlin has proven quite the find for Tampa Bay, missing just two of 30 total kicks and offering stellar long-range accuracy. McLaughlin could be in for another busy afternoon in a Week 10 home matchup against the Titans.

  • Dolphins' Jason Sanders: Good on both PATs

Sanders converted both of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 21-14 loss to Kansas City.

Sanders didn't log a field-goal attempt during Miami's international Week 9 loss, with the team having been forced into an aggressive gameplan due to an early deficit. After Miami's bye, Sanders will benefit from a more favorable matchup against the Raiders in Week 11.

  • Giants' Randy Bullock: Back on practice squad

Bullock reverted to the Giants' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

In his second stint with the Giants, Bullock was contained to a pair of kickoffs, one to start the third quarter and another following the team's only touchdown when New York opted for a two-point conversion attempt Sunday during the 30-6 loss at Las Vegas. It's unclear if the Giants will continue to roll with Bullock as their placekicker or instead go with Cade York, who is the option on the active roster, during Graham Gano's (knee) stint on injured reserve. If Bullock gets the call Sunday in Dallas, he'll need to be elevated from the practice squad by Saturday afternoon.
