Chris Boswell K | PIT
Steelers' Chris Boswell: Misses 61-yard attempt in loss
Boswell made one of two field-goal attempts while converting his lone extra-point try during the Steelers' 20-10 loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Boswell was perfect on the season heading into Sunday's Week 8 matchup. While he initially made a 55-yard field-goal attempt to close out the first half, it was nullified by an offensive penalty, and he missed the ensuing 61-yard try. Despite the miss, Boswell has still had an impressive season when the offense has put him in a position to attempt field goals. He's now converted 12 of 13 field-goal attempts while making all nine of his extra-point tries in 2023.

Brandon Aubrey K | DAL
Cowboys' Brandon Aubrey: Perfect once again
Aubrey connected on both his field-goal attempts, including a career-long 58 yarder, and all five of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 43-20 win over the Rams.
The rookie kicker has drilled 35 consecutive attempts (18 FG, 17 PAT) since missing the very first extra-point attempt of his career back in Week 1. Aubrey has now tied the NFL record for consecutive field goal makes to begin a career with 18, a mark set by the Browns' Travis Coons in 2015. He'll look to claim the record for himself in Week 9 against the Eagles.

Anders Carlson K | NYJ
Packers' Anders Carlson: Opportunities remain minimal
Carlson made a 30-yard field goal and an extra point in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Vikings.
Carlson made both kicks he attempted in Week 8, but as has been the case since Week 3, his opportunities to put points on the board were minimal. He will at least have the matchup on his side in Week 9, as the Packers face a Rams team that has been friendly to opposing kickers this season.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Little need in loss
Fairbairn did not attempt a field goal and made his lone extra-point kick in Sunday's 15-13 loss to the Panthers in Week 8.
Fairbairn entered Week 8 among the league leaders in kicker scoring but was not given many chances in Sunday's loss. Houston's offense had trouble sustaining drives, leaving Fairbairn with just an extra-point conversion while going for two after a second touchdown. Sunday was an anomaly for Fairbairn, who made multiple field goals in the first six games played. For the season, he's converted 17 of 18 FGA and all 13 extra-point kicks.

Wil Lutz K | DEN
Broncos' Wil Lutz: Makes one field goal
Lutz made one of two field-goal attempts while converting all three of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 24-9 win over the Chiefs.
Lutz ended his perfect streak on kicking tries, as his 38 yard field-goal attempt was blocked in the third quarter of the contest. The veteran kicker did, however, connect from 28 yards out late in the fourth quarter. Lutz will look to bounce back from Sunday's underwhelming performance when the Broncos return from their Week 9 bye to square off against the Bills on Nov. 13.

Dustin Hopkins K | CLE
Browns' Dustin Hopkins: Perfect in loss
Hopkins converted two of two field-goal attempts and both extra-point kicks in Sunday's 24-20 loss to Seattle in Week 8.
Hopkins wasn't tested too hard, drilling two second-half attempts from 25 and 27 yards. Those kicks looked to be the difference, but quarterback PJ Walker's late interception gave the Seahawks possession near midfield, and the Browns' stout defense couldn't prevent the game-winning touchdown. Hopkins has converted 18 of 20 field-goal attempts (10 of 11 the last three games) and is tied for sixth in kicker scoring with 64 points.

Graham Gano K | NYG
Giants' Graham Gano: Continues to struggle
Gano went 1-for-3 on field-goal tries and made his lone extra-point attempt against the Jets in a Week 8 overtime loss.
Per Art Stapleton of The Bergen Record, Gano indicated before the contest that his left knee remains painful and will eventually require surgery, which may be a key factor in his struggles this season. The usually reliable kicker missed twice in Sunday's loss, with one of the misses being a chip shot 35-yarder that went wide left. That failed kick came with less than 30 seconds remaining in the contest, opening the door for the Jets to drive the other way and convert a game-tying field goal to send the matchup into overtime. Gano came into 2023 having gone 89-for-97 in the regular season over his first three years as a Giant, but he's been far from dependable this season, hitting just 11 of 17 attempts and missing twice from under 40 yards.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Clutch despite low volume in Week 8
Zuerlein made both of his field-goal attempts and his only PAT try in Sunday's 13-10 overtime win over the Giants.
The Jets' offense struggled to provide Zuerlein opportunities, but he made a pair of clutch short kicks down the stretch. His 35-yard field goal tied the game on the final play of the fourth quarter, and Zuerlein added the overtime game-winner from 33 yards out. The veteran kicker has missed only once in six appearances this season.

Daniel Carlson K | LV
Raiders' Daniel Carlson: Questionable for Monday
Carlson (groin) is listed as questionable for Monday's contest against the Lions, Anthony Galaviz of The Fresno Bee reports.
Carlson did manage to practice in limited fashion Saturday after missing the previous two days, but it's still unclear if the Pro Bowl kicker will be healthy enough to play in Monday's primetime matchup. Expect the team to tip off the plan for Carlson when it's revealed who gets elevated from the practice squad Sunday.
