Jason Myers K | SEA
Seahawks' Jason Myers: Knocks home three kicks
Myers made his lone field-goal try and both extra-point attempts in Saturday's 32-25 preseason loss to the Steelers.
Myers hit his field goal from 33 yards out. The 31-year-old kicker currently has no competition in training camp or the preseason even though he struggled last year, as he connected on just 17 of 23 field-goal attempts (74 percent). Myers will be a free agent after the 2022 season.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Makes one, misses one Saturday
Fairbairn converted 1-of-2 field-goal attempts and made both extra-point kicks in Saturday's 17-13 preseason win over the Saints.
Fairbairn connected on a 49-yard field goal in the first quarter then missed wide right in the waning seconds of the first half on a 59-yard attempt. The kicker is coming off a down season, but he's converted 18-of-28 (64.2 percent) of his attempts from beyond the 50 during his career. Houston head coach Lovie Smith views Fairbairn as a weapon, telling Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle earlier this week the team has "big plans for him" in 2022. "We're expecting big things," Smith added.

Gabe Brkic K | GB
Packers' Gabe Brkic: Misses lone field-goal attempt
Brkic missed a 32-yard field-goal attempt and made all three of his point-after-touchdown tries in Friday's preseason game against the 49ers.
Brkic was true on his three extra-point tries, but he badly misfired on his first field goal attempt as a professional, and from not too far out. With Mason Crosby (knee) on the PUP list, Brkic is the only healthy kicker on the Packers' roster. However, Crosby will almost certainly handle the kicking duties for the Packers when he recovers, and Brkic is not a lock to fill in if Crosby remains out when the regular season gets underway.

Cade York K | NO
Browns' Cade York: Perfect in opener
York made all three extra-point kicks and was successful on a 31-yard field-goal attempt in Friday's 24-13 win over the Jaguars in preseason action.
It was a banner night for the Browns' 2022 Draft class, which accounted for all 24 points scored -- fifth-round pick Jerome Ford scored two touchdowns and third-round pick Martin Emerson had a pick six. York built off what has been a strong camp thus far and is a lock to be Cleveland's placekicker, as the rookie fourth-round pick has no competition.

Brett Maher K | LAR
Cowboys' Brett Maher: Signed to replace Jonathan Garibay
The Cowboys are signing Maher to replace fellow kicker Jonathan Garibay, who was waived Tuesday, Rob Phillips of the team's official site reports.
Maher previously played for Dallas in 2018-19, converting 49 of 66 field-goal attempts (74.2 percent) and 68 of 69 PATs (98.6 percent). He made kicks from 62 and 63 yards during that time, but the inconsistency largely overshadowed his leg strength. Maher now will compete with Lirim Hajrullahu for the kicker job in Dallas.

Justin Tucker K | BAL
Ravens' Justin Tucker: Signs four-year extension
Tucker signed a four-year extension with the Ravens on Monday.
Tucker had another All-Pro season last year after going 35-for-37 on field-goal attempts, including a perfect 6-for-6 from 50-plus yards. The 33-year-old also set an NFL record by nailing a 66-yard game-winner Week 3 in Detroit. Per Jamison Hensley of ESPN.com, Tucker's new contract is worth $6 million per year with $17.5 million guaranteed, which makes him the highest-paid kicker in the league once again after Chris Boswell had recently tied Tucker with a four-year, $20 million deal ($12.5 million guaranteed). Tucker was already under contract for two more years, so his extension will keep him in Baltimore through the 2027 campaign.

Ka'imi Fairbairn K | HOU
Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Shows consistency in camp
Fairbairn has made all field-goal attempts during the special-teams period in camp, Brooks Kubena of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Fairbairn, who had been a constant his first four seasons with Houston, is coming off a down season that saw him dip below 80.0 percent in field-goal accuracy and miss three of 16 extra-point kicks (81%). The Texans were a mess last season, and many players had off years, but the offense is expected to be better in 2022. However, it remains an offense that's not expected to score a lot of touchdowns. As such, Fairbairn could be called on to attempt more field goals than his 19 tries of 2021.

Cade York K | NO
Browns' Cade York: Misses first kick
York has made 11-of-12 field-goal attempts in training camp, Chris Easterling of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
A few of those successful boots were as far out as 53 yards, although when taking into consideration the distance beyond the goal posts, they could have been good from 60-plus. His lone miss was from 58 yards. The 2022 fourth-round pick out of LSU made 54-of-66 for the Tigers, including 21-of-27 as a freshman for the 2019 national championship team. Not since Phil Dawson, who left as a free agent in 2012 after 14 seasons in Cleveland, have interested observers felt this confident in a Browns' placekicker.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Favorite to win kicking battle
Zuerlein (toe) is considered to have an early leg up over Eddy Pineiro for the Jets' starting kicker job, Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic reports.
Zuerlein missed Wednesday's practice with a sore toe, but he is not expected to miss much time due to this issue. The 34-year-old went 4-for-4 on field-goal attempts during practice Monday, and his longevity should give him a distinct advantage in the job battle.

Greg Zuerlein K | NYJ
Jets' Greg Zuerlein: Nursing sore toe
Zuerlein didn't kick at Wednesday's due to a sore toe, Andy Vasquez of The Bergen Record reports.
Zuerlein's injury doesn't appear to be a serious one, as head coach Robert Saleh expects the kicker to be back on the field by Saturday. The 34-year-old joined the Jets in March on a one-year deal after being cut by the Cowboys.
