  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Remains sidelined Thursday

Fairbairn (quad) isn't practicing Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Fairbairn was expected to miss more than one week after getting hurt in Week 9 against the Broncos, per an earlier report from Wilson. The standout kicker is tracking toward a second consecutive absence Sunday against the Titans, though Fairbairn could give himself a chance to play by returning to practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Matthew Wright filled in for Fairbairn in Week 10 against the Jaguars and would do so again Sunday if Fairbairn's ruled out.

  • Texans' Ka'imi Fairbairn: Not practicing Wednesday

    Fairbairn (quad) didn't practice Wednesday.

Per Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston, Matthew Wright was signed to the Texans' active roster (from the practice squad) Saturday under the expectation that Fairbairn -- who was inactive Sunday against the Jaguars -- will need more than one week to heal up. Following a DNP on Wednesday, Fairbairn has two more chances to practice ahead of Week 11 action, but for now it looks like Wright is trending toward kicking again this weekend.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: Moves to IR

The Giants placed Gano (neck) on injured reserve Wednesday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

With his placement on IR for a second time this season, Gano's campaign is officially over after making five appearances and connecting on nine of 10 field-goal attempts and all nine point-after tries. Younghoe Koo is set to kick for the Giants in the short term, but the team also has Jude McAtamney on the practice squad as another option to handle placekicking duties.

  • Graham Gano K | NYG

Giants' Graham Gano: No practice Wednesday

Gano (neck) didn't take part in Wednesday's practice, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.

Gano hasn't practiced since being diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck last Wednesday. New York hasn't made the move to place him on injured reserve, so he seemingly isn't poised to miss three games in addition to this past Sunday's loss at Chicago. Having said that, Younghoe Koo is set to kick for the Giants for as long as Gano is sidelined.

  • Greg Joseph K | LV

Greg Joseph: Lands deal with Las Vegas

The Raiders signed Joseph to the practice squad Tuesday.

Joseph will provide the Raiders with a kicking option alongside Daniel Carlson, who has made just 12 of 16 field-goal attempts this season. Carlson missed a potential game-tying 48-yard kick wide right in the fourth quarter last Thursday night against Denver. Joseph kicked in games with the Giants, Commanders and Jets last season, making 16 of his 20 field-goal tries and all 11 of his extra points.

  • Ben Sauls K | NYG

Ben Sauls: Finds work with G-Men

The Giants signed Sauls to the practice squad Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.

Sauls is currently the fourth kicker employed by the G-Men, joining Graham Gano (neck), who is on the 53-man roster, and practice-squad members Younghoe Koo and Jude McAtamney. Sauls has never kicked in a regular-season game.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Connects on only FGA in win

Elliott made his only field-goal attempt and extra-point try in Monday night's 10-7 win over Green Bay.

Elliott was able to break the seal in the third quarter, making a 39-yard field goal to cap off the Eagles' first possession of the second half, giving the team a 3-0 lead. The kicker has now gone seven straight contests without making multiple field goals, and he's only had one opportunity to even attempt two field goals during that span. Elliott has gone 8-for-10 on field-goal tries, including 3-for-4 from 50-plus yards, while making all 26 of his PATs over nine games this year.

  • Packers' Brandon McManus: Misses desperation kick during MNF

McManus missed his only field-goal attempt and made his only PAT in Monday night's 10-7 loss to the Eagles.

McManus had to wait until the final seconds of the game to attempt a field goal, shanking a 64-yarder after a poor snap as time expired in regulation. The kicker has now missed at least one field goal in three straight contests, though Monday's miss isn't overly concerning. McManus has now gone 11-for-17 on field-goal tries, including 2-for-4 from 50-plus yards, while making 16 of 17 PATs over seven games this year.

  • Younghoe Koo K | NYG

Giants' Younghoe Koo: Moved back to practice squad

The Giants reverted Koo to their practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Koo was elevated for Sunday's Week 10 loss to Chicago and made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries. His elevation was a result of veteran kicker Graham Gano missing the game due to a neck injury. Koo will likely be the Giants' kicker again Sunday versus Green Bay if Gano isn't ready to return to action.

  • Rams' Harrison Mevis: Reverts to PS for procedural reason

Mevis reverted to the Rams' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

In his first taste of NFL regular-season action Sunday versus San Francisco, Mevis didn't attempt a field goal but made all six of his extra-point tries. Rams coach Sean McVay said Monday that Mevis will again be the team's kicker Sunday against Seattle, so Mevis' reversion to the practice squad is a procedural move since he's not technically on the 53-man roster. Look for Mevis to be elevated again this weekend ahead of Sunday's big NFC West clash.
