  • Brett Maher K | LAR

Brett Maher: Cut from practice squad

Washington released Maher from the practice squad Wednesday, Sam Fortier of The Washington Post reports.

Maher spent most of September on Washington's practice squad, but he'll now need to search for a reserve role with another club. He appeared in 29 games with the Cowboys from 2018 to 2019.

  • Ravens' Justin Tucker: Remains perfect in 2020

Tucker went 2-for-2 on field goals and converted both of his extra-point tries Monday against the Chiefs.

The star kicker connected on field goals of 26 and 42 yards, and now Tucker has made a field goal of at least 40 yards in each game thus far this season. Tucker is 7-for-7 on field goals and 10-for-10 on extra points on the year. Baltimore visits Washington in Week 4.

  • Chiefs' Harrison Butker: Uncharacteristic Week 3 outing

Butker missed his only field goal attempt as well as one of his four extra-point tries in Monday night's 34-20 win over the Ravens.

Butker followed his Week 2 heroics with an unusually poor performance. He not only went wide left on his first PAT attempt, but also missed the same way on a 42-yard field goal prior to halftime. Through three games, Butker has now misfired on a pair of extra points, with Monday's inaccurate attempt contributing toward a season-low of four points total.

  • Tyler Bass K | BUF

Bills' Tyler Bass: Limited to extra points

Bass made all five of his extra-point tries but didn't attempt a field goal in Sunday's 35-32 win over the Rams.

Bass did all that was required of him on a day Buffalo scored all five of its touchdowns from inside the five-yard line. Such efficiency restricted Bass's potential production, but he nonetheless went a second straight week without a miss following his two misfires in Week 1. He's also been excellent on kickoffs, with 83.3 percent of them resulting in touchbacks.

  • Ravens' Justin Tucker: Continues perfect start

Tucker made both of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Monday night's 34-20 loss to the Chiefs.

Tucker converted from 26 and 42 yards on his field goals, which, along with his couple extra-point makes, kept him perfect on the season. Through three games, Tucker sports 31 points, notching at least eight in every game thus far.

  • Cardinals' Zane Gonzalez: Misses extra point

Gonzalez made his only field-goal attempt but missed one of his three extra-point tries in Sunday's 26-23 loss to the Lions.

Gonzalez converted from 54 yards on his lone field goal but kicked wide right on his second PAT attempt, giving him a couple misses from that distance through just three games this season. Although Gonzalez sports a respectable 23 points to date, he'll want to cut out his simple mistakes and stop costing his team easy points going forward.

  • Mike Badgley K | BUF

Chargers' Michael Badgley: Doesn't miss Sunday

Badgley knocked home both his field goal and extra-point attempt in Sunday's 21-16 loss to the Panthers.

Badgley was robbed of an additional extra-point attempt when the Chargers were forced to go for a two-point conversation late in the game. The third-year kicker has missed just one attempt all season, and has missed just two attempts from inside the 40 throughout his entire career, although the Chargers' offense has struggled at times to put him within his ideal range.

  • Jake Elliott K | PHI

Eagles' Jake Elliott: Good from distance in tie

Elliott made all three of his field-goal attempts and both of his extra-point tries in Sunday's 23-23 tie with Cincinnati.

Elliott made his two longest field goals of the season Sunday, as he set a season best by putting a 42-yarder through the uprights in the second quarter and then one-upped himself with a 54-yarder in the third. He continues to be one of the most dependable kickers in the game.

  • Broncos' Brandon McManus: Nails 56-yarder

McManus converted an extra-point and a 56-yard field goal during Sunday's 28-10 loss to Tampa Bay.

McManus' 56-yarder was his longest field goal since Week 1 of the 2015 season. McManus has held value in recent seasons, as he's on a team that has had enough offense to get into field-goal range, but not enough to get into the end zone. History is repeating itself as, with Drew Lock (shoulder) out for at least another game or two, the Broncos have a more question marks on offense than answers. Expect that to continue Thursday against the Jets with Brett Rypien or Jeff Driskel leading the offense.

  • Matt Prater K | BUF

Lions' Matt Prater: Big day in desert

Prater made four of four field-goal attempts and two of two PATs during Sunday's 26-23 victory over Arizona.

Detroit was able to move the ball in the return of receiver Kenny Golladay, but the offense struggled to punch the ball in the end zone. Prater thus benefited with four field-goal tries from within 40 yards. The veteran should continue to see opportunities stemming from the Lions' progressively improving health situation on the offensive side of the roster when Detroit hosts New Orleans at home in Week 4.
